Anyone else going to this concert tonight? The wife and I are loading up the suburban and heading to Newport and our hotel for the evening. Kids are with grandparents, let the debauchery begin!

Well, walked across the bridge at 7 last night and the freaking concert was cancelled due to illness! Well, I had 9 coors lights in me already so the wife and I staggered back to Arnies sports bar and finished off the night!

They are trying to reschedule, or you can get a refund. Probably hold off on the refund to see what date they pick! 20 beers later kinda took the edge off! lol I am hurting today!

The wife and I got to see George Jones recently...he SHOWED up!

He had laryngitis, supposedly the same thing that Alan Jackson came down with. If George Jones can perform with laryngitis, surely Alan Jackson can :)

Not really, he sounded bad...probably shouldn't have played. He did get better as the show went on though, even though he didn't play some of his best songs.
