Thanks for a great season Red Riders and a reason to cheer on Friday nights! To all the haters, shame on you (said in your mom's voice) and grow up. To the quarterback -- come back next season stronger than ever!
GO RED!!

Well, where do I begin? I wasnt even gonna post until I saw some of your posts this morning! You guys talk about how CLASSY your post are and then almost every one of you says something derogatory about Genoa. What does Genoa have to do with that BUTT KICKIN(my prediction) that the almighty red riders got! Funny how you guys talk all the crap about the doubters until you lose and then say "I didnt expect us to get this far" sounds like YOU were doubters too. I said it before and Ill say it again. YOUR TEAM WAS NOT THAT GOOD!!!...MEDIOCRE AT BEST IN A MEDIOCRE DIVISION AND REGION!!!. Your Div 1 prospects must have family that are ALUMNI at those schools because Im not seein it, but good luck to those kids none the less. You guys let your hearts get in the way of your brains(if you had any) when you talk about your team. My next prediction is that Chagrin Falls "falls" to Hartley by 17 or more. Also, Whitmer get their butts handed to them by a few TDs tonight. See, Im a realist. I dont let my heart get in the way of my brains(I do have plenty).

Moto, You're right-we bleed Rider Red and do speak from the heart. We are very passionate about our football-I don't see anything wrong with that.We have MUCH to be proud of! One of the top 4 teams in D IV and ALOT coming back next year! These kind of seasons keep the young students passionate about the program as well and enables us to just "reload". Lichti will be an awesome QB- very bright and now very experienced-gonna enjoy watching this kid the next 2 years! Great job Riders- you gave us a season!

Good luck to Genoa next year as well- I know in this forum we trash talk and banter back and forth, but the fact of the matter is I admire communities that are passionate about their programs. I t's what makes high school sports so great!

Hey AllOhio...Im not syaing there is anything wrong with being passionate about your program. But, its also okay to be realistic.Im saying go back and read these CLASSY post by your other "passionate fans". They wanna talk crap until you disagree and then bash you for being honest.

Wow 14 weeks of football and finally, ( after their beloved Panthers are knocked out,) the beacon journal has an Orrville game story and picture. Amazing paper, no wonder the sportswriters are all going elsewhere!

^^lets not kid ourselves....that was a chagrin falls story...not an orrville story.

Thought about our kids last night....had to be tough for them, especially the seniors. We were one of 24 teams in the entire state playing this weekend. Our tradition is strong.

Coach Davault has a cool 70% winning percentage over his first 5 seasons. Mo's was 64% over his first 5, Mac's was 64.8%

GREAT JOB Riders. You proved that the tradition continues at Orrville. Going into this season many including me thought we would be average and you showed everyone what desire you had. graet year, great memories, and a GREAT Senior Class.

Wow, rage hunter agrees with series62. Go figure. All the Rider posts I've read since last night are contratulatory, with respect given to our opponent. I did not see one of our posts say that we beat ourselves and should have won. (But if I missed one, I'm sure it will be pointed out) I think that we are taking the troll trashing we are getting on here quite well.

Again, great tournament run, fellas! BRF is proud of you!

riders1,if you don't like the ABJ, don't read it, it's not really a Wayne County paper anyway. Rea the Wooster rag instead. As far as Manchester goes, how were the Riders any better than the Panthers this year? Both teams had similiar results against CF this year, yet you'd never know it the way you talk. Manchester and Orrville were both good Div IV teams this year, nothing more or less.

I know the last time they were in a league with us we shut the entire league out from scoring and Manchester AD/Coach did everything in his power to keep Orrville out of any new league that was formed so his little panthers would have pseudo success. Welcome PAC.

You are opening a can of worms or whoop A when you come on this thread and try to tout Manchester Panther crap. I remember a certain Rubber bowl play off game against a "dynamite" Manchester team.......I think 35-0 if I remember correctly! haha. I have no love for the Panthers! old story behind that one!

5knots: watch out, or you will be called Stalin next! ;-) I will save the Manchester poster the trouble of responding by saying for him, "this is an open forum and I can post wherever and whatever I want". Be careful what you wish for, trolls.

Hook, line, and sinker, every time. The problem is they are all under the size limit, so we throw them back.
