Um Ovechkin does take runs at people. I don't care though, I like his game. He plays balls out...nothing wrong with that.

Staying on topic. What happened to the glass right at the start of the Winter Classic? As soon as I turned it on there was a stoppage to repair it.

Boarding people from behind, leaving your feet on a check and taking blatant cheap shots is OK? There's a code in the game and he has crossed the line more than a few times, eventually someone's going to lay him out.

Pittsburgh signed current defenseman Deryk Engelland to a three year $1.7 million dollar contract. Good signing IMO, Engelland is a decent defensman and a very good fighter/enforcer and the money was right. It also solidifies the much needed depth the Pens now have in defense.

Malkin finished third behind Jonathan Toews. Pittsburgh's Marc Andre Fleury led all goalies and Kris Letang, a write in candidate, led all defenseman.......that's unheard of.

Not suprised that Crosby is the leading vote getter. He's the biggest name out there, similar to Troy being voted to the pro bowl last season despite playing 5 games.
