How about Boardman raiding the Catholic grade schools for guys like Tommy Zetts and John Greco. Both were in the parochial feeder schools from K-8. But they both went to Boardman high school when it came time. Did anyone complain about that?
Maurice Clarett ring a bell anyone? Somehow he was able to play his freshman year at Fitch, and then play the next three years at Harding. I'm sure nothing fishy was going on there. And I'm sure Dayne Hammond's near transfer from Boardman to Harding was completely on the up-and-up.
The point of this post? Public schools get kids from outside their borders just like private schools do. As long as it's done within the rules, nobody should have a bitch about it.
Nice examples, now multiply those X 100, and we'll start calling them St. Boardman and Archbishop Warren.
