Yeah, St. V earned those state championships, by giving several inner city kids scholarships, that, otherwise, they would never had been able to afford.

Basically, yes, they did. By allowing them to recruit the best basketball players Akron had to offer. But, you knew that.

I meant the word in its second meaning: "To file a demurrer"

Demurrer: "a response in a court proceeding in which the defendant does not dispute the truth of the allegation but claims it is not sufficient grounds to justify legal action"
