Yes it very well could and I think they will win 4 out of 6 ...Hilliard Davidson has a shot ...Akron Buhctel has a shot ... I truely hope the pubs take all 6 and I am wrong ..But that just aint going to happen ....Coldwater might play with Ursulin for a quarter this year ... Shadyside might do the same against Delphos St John ...Kettering Alter already beat the best public chools in that division so they look good right now ....Its just a big mess ... We are going to get stomped

Uniontown Lake may finnaly get over the hump and win one

Why is totally different if a parent chooses Steubenville schools because that is in the best interest of their student than if a parent chooses any other school because it is in their family's best interest?

Its all cool ..I think you should be allowed to do whatever you want ..my issue is with the OHSAA and the public Ohio BOE ...I dont know all the rules .. Has'nt Canton and Massillon been sanctioned in the recent past for recruiting viotations...Two sets of rules exist ... How can public schools be sanctioned when private schools cannot ...And I undrstand that they cannot because they are private ..But the football playoff system is not seperate...I propose that at the very least when a private school wins a championship they be moved up two divisions for the next two years unless they win again and then they stay in that higher division ..I say two because only one division could just be a very small number ... any better ideas?.....I really am not an enemy of the catholic schools I dont hate anybody ..When I see a small team like Kirtland that has a great division 5 school play basically a division 1 power for the division 5 title something is not fair ...and Ursulin is a division 1 power on the football field ...They are I have seen them ..I have seen several nationally ranked teams this year also and they are right up there with all of them I think they would beat most of them ........

Private school can be sanctioned, and there are cases of schools (both private and public) who have had to forfeit games. The transfer rules are the same with one exception (a student can transfer back to his/her home public district without sitting out a year)

Right about what? You stated Big Red has home grown kids. Explain to me how that makes you right? What is your "validating point"? Take open enrollment out of Big Reds equation, and you have an average Div. 3 team.

Wait, it's OK for Big Red to have kids come to school outside of their district, but it's not OK for a private school to do the same thing?

If we are using newspaper articles as proof, can we include articles that mention public schools as well? Perhaps articles that deal with bringing in a QB from another state?

Not in favor of separate tournaments. I do think you can use a multiplier for any school that has no district or open enrollment.

Ed has been a .500 team the past 3 seasons, and a complete non-factor in the title chase for nearly a decade. Stupid and whiny isn't a good combination. You should probably work on that.

I am open to a multiplier because I would love to see the potential matchup's Ursuline could potentially go up against, i.e. Poland, or Canfield, or perhaps even Howland come playoff time. There will never be two systems in this state because the OHSAA will never let it happen. Let's face it, people are going to flock to Canton and Massillon this year to see how powerful St. Ed's is and how talented Ursuline is.
