Yes, I think that is the big difference between him and the last good freshman big OSU had. Oden was a complete player, Sully needs to learn D.

His offensive production is very impressive. I think people just kind of expected him, either consciously or subconsciously, to come in and perform like Oden did right away.

Well they're making these jumping hooks where they are going away from the basket. It's not like he's getting backed down and dunked on. He will continue to get better. He could and will learn a lot from lighty about how to defend the bigger player.

Sullinger definitely needs to work on his defensive positioning. I don't think Florida is so offensively skilled down low that you need to try to deny them the ball. Let them catch it, then force them to their weak hand.

Sullinger is a MUCH MUCH better offensive player than Oden at this stage. Oden had 4 inches on Sullinger, Sullinger has 4 moves now that Oden hadn't seen at a Freshman.

I agree. The issue is where they are catching it, very close to the basket. Good position defense will force a guy to step away from the basket, making it a much more difficult shot.

I love watching Craft play the game. Very good ball handler and can't beat a press by himself.

They will surface in due time. Sully is getting points..but most are on transition dunks. Give credit to the perimeter players for breaking press and attacking/dishing to Sully.
