What does Diebler provide to that team other than stand still shooting?? He doesn't rebound,he doesn't play defense
Is that picture supposed to bother me?

Wow! I just finished watching this one. This team is better than I thought they would be. They have a great mix of youth and experience. They can play down low. They can shoot, they can attack the rim etc.. Rebounding needs to improve but other than that I was very pleased. They had a bit of cockiness/swagger in the 2nd half as well. I cant add anything else that hasnt been said already. Impressive win, this team is going to be fun to watch.
Go Bucks!!

Thats exactly what he does. How are teams going to be able to collapse down low on Sully with guys like Lighty, Craft, Diebs, Willy etc.. out on the perimeter?

You know, Ty, all you had to do was look at a box score to see what Diebler did tonight against a top 10 team on their own floor.
He scored 14 points tonight by shooting very well, and had 4 assists.
He also played 39 minutes -- more than anyone else. Which tells you the coach believes he's needed on the floor to help the team win.
See how easy that was?
Try it next time before shooting your mouth off.

Just finishing up watching the game. One thing that really hasn't been mentioned on here (I don't think) is how much of a team this is. They all seem to be pulling for each other and don't really care who gets shots, scores, etc. Its a really good sign this early in the season, especially when there are essentially two groups on the team: A group of 3-4 year veterans that have have a lot of success together and a group of freshman that have played together on the AAU circuit and have had success in their own right. Its pretty easy to see they all get "it" and are all team first guys, and like playing together. It will win a couple tough Big Ten games for them down the road.
Also, LOL at the Florida students chanting "Lighty Sucks" around the 6 minute mark. 26 points and being unguardable doesn't usually add up to sucking.

The Buckeyes had 22 assists on 39 baskets.
That is great passing and teamwork.

Yeah they talk about it in the second half. I think they said he is down to about 275 from 290+. He looks to be in much better shape. I saw him play a few times in HS and he was just enormous.

Exactly my thoughts.
He was fat in HS. No way around it. But he looks good now and seems to be a lot more agile than he was just a few months ago.
Also, I love that he is wearing 0 like JJ did.

8 out of 10 ESPN "experts" picked Florida to win the SEC. SEC = pitiful.

That's possible IMO. The SEC isn't a very deep conference year in and year out (basketball speaking)

Apparently Donovan said after the game that the most impressive thing with OSU is that they are a "complete team" and I think that is a great analysis. When the basketball gods assemble their ideal team, they have a dominant post, a defensive post player, athletic wings that can shoot, a great shooter and a heady PG who doesn't turn the ball over. That's exactly what OSU has.

Agree 100%
I thought there was a chance we'd blow them out of the water, and I couldn't be happier.
Now it's time to focus towards the big football game in Iowa City this weekend.
