That would be what this thread is for. Talk about your precious UConn game somewhere else.

CB said that he was unimpressed with Sullinger when Sully had like 8 points in 14 minutes in the first

I said he wandering around instead of making himself available to get the ball. It was true when I said it. He played better in the second half.

You think I care about Women's basketball? HA. If you had any awareness, you would know that ESPN switched from the OSU game to the Uconn game.

It was like 3 comments about one of the biggest streaks in basketball history.

And I think you should have your posting rights in tbe CB forum revoked for complaining about a true freshman dominating in his 2nd ever game against a top 10 team haha

Really? They just won by 20, on the road vs a top 10 ranked team. Starting is completely overrated. Its obvious what Matta is doing with his rotation and if it works, why change? Craft coming off the bench is a good spark. He is usually in by the 15 min mark. Matta wont' change unless there is a need to.

Yeah I guess you shoudlnt fix it if it isnt broken.

You think hell get the same amount of minutes if Lauderdale doesnt get in foul trouble and they dont have to play sully at the 5?

Uhhhhhhh Siebert didn't play.......Siebert WON'T play in big games. Thomas only played a few minutes in the 1st half.

Matta's bench will be just as short as last year. He has 6 players he trusts, the 4 Seniors and TWO Freshmen.

Yes, I think he gets the same minutes. The best lineup is Craft, Diebler, Buford, Lighty and Sully. Matta will continue to start the same, then go with this rotation starting at the 15 min mark with Craft coming in to play the point.

No, I don't think it will. Guys like Thomas and Siebert just need more minutes in meaningless games. Tonite was just too big of a game, and too early to trust that those guys are ready. As the season goes on, they will get their minutes. They won't be in in crunch time. But they will play.

Craft led the team in turnovers with 3. Almost half of the team's 8.

It's ok. I was right anyway. And Sullinger picked up his activity over the last 25 minutes of the game and looked like a one-and-done monster. I'm obviously happy with a 20 point win.

Thomas was getting minutes in the first half. But he took untimely shots and got beat to the glass too much. So matta sat him!!
I think sibert and Thomas will get some minutes in time.

First of all, Sully played a very good game. But he wasn't very good defensively. AND, most of his points were on transition dunks. The perimeter guys deserve A LOT of credit for getting him the ball for many easy dunks/layups. It won't be that easy for him in the Big Ten where most games turn into defensive slugfest in the half court. Dononvan was stupid for staying with the press in the second half. Live and die with it. OSU carved it up big time.

I think Thomas will work his way into being trusted by Matta. He has a month and a half to get ready for Big 10 play.

2 of crafts turnovers were charges. And both were lame.

He did a great job. I love Evan turner, but he would have turned it over 7+ times tonight.

Meaningless games are meaningless. Big games and Big Ten games, Matta is only playing 6 players, unless there's foul trouble.

For a frosh PG playing in a big game, his 2nd game of his career, against a pressing/ pressure defense...still pretty damn good.

Very impressive 2nd half performance. Great halftime adjustments. The Buckeyes were very agressive to the rim and rebounded much better.

Craft is the real deal. I saw him play from the 7th grade on...and I've been saying Buckeye fans will love him. He's no ordinary freshman.

Fact. Craft had 3 of the 8. The REAL impressive part is the other 6 players who played had a total of 5 turnovers. AMAZING. Seniors.
