And he did a great job of playing "lawyer" in that presser.

Well, I was watching Monday Night Countdown on ESPN and Adam Schefter said that even though Stoops said he's staying at Oklahoma.....the word around the NFL is that the interest is mutual and it's expected that Bob Stoops will be the next head coach at Notre Dame. Not saying that means it will happen but they addressed Stoops' comments and still said that he's interested and it's likely to happen. Who knows. We'll find out for sure at some point.

I saw that Ewok.
Like I said earlier in this thread, I have no doubt in my mind that Stoops will be the coach of Notre Dame.
Also, did you hear Lou Holtz's (god, could you imagine Lou trying to pronounce "Holtz's" lol) speech on sportscenter today? It was very good.

Atleast he didn't throw ND under the bus like he did Ohio St. back in when Cooper was let go. He said i believe, "Why would I want to go to Ohio St., I have 6 National Championships here at Oklahoma". I never care much for him after that, and Tressel was announcced a few days later i think.
I think he is happy there in Oklahoma, inbetween California, Texas and also knows Ohio recruiting as well.
And as far as prestige job:

Going from Ohio State to the other school is not going down a level it's at least two levels if not three.
