People were saying the same shit last year after we lost to Purdue. I think you were one of the many claiming that Oregon would roll over the Buckeyes. The Buckeyes have more football talent than teams like TCU, Boise, Oregon.

BAB Actually it was merely a joke I just don't really like sleeper. And no I have an allegiance my team is Florida State and yes you can go ahead and make fun of them :). Also where did I talk shit? I posted a fact. To be honest though I think OSU would have a better shot at any of those teams from the SEC then TCU.

Hmm, well we beat Oregon last year, the entire SEC is garbage, and Boise and TCU would have at least 2-3 losses if they played in the real conference.

ND was invited to that bowl last year and turned it down. Marshall was about their 5th choice to fill the B10 spot (and they still beat us :()

The only way Michigan State can possibly go to the Rose Bowl is if both Wisconsin and Ohio State lose, in which case Wisconsin would not be going to a BCS Bowl (nor would the Bucks) making the Scout.com projection highly unlikely.

MSU only needs OSU to lose.

If MSU and Wisc finish in two-way tie, MSU won head-to-head.

If MSU, Iowa, and Wisc finish in three-way tie. Head-to-head is even because they all went 1-1 against each other. Second tie-breaker is overall record, that eliminates Iowa, then MSU has head-to-head tiebreaker over Wisc.

I don't believe that is true. The highest ranked Big Ten team in the BCS gets the Rose Bowl bid, if I recall correctly.

I thought the tiebreaker in a 3 way tie is that the team that is ranked highest in the BCS goes to the Rose Bowl, in a 2 way tie I believe your correct head to head decides but I don't see how there will not be a three way tie unless both Ohio State and Wisconsin lose. It will be either MSU, Wis. and OSU or MSU Wis, and Iowa. In either scenario MSU would not go to the Rose Bowl. (but I could be wrong) It could also be OSU and MSU in which case OSU goes as the two did not play and OSU again would have the higher ranking in the BCS. I just don't see MSU in the Rose Bowl unless some really big upsets happen.

If the 3 way tie is between MSU, Iowa, and Wisc., Iowa is eliminated by 5d since they had an out of conference loss. Then MSU has head-to-head over Wisc.

If the 3 way tie is between MSU, OSU, and Wisc., it would go to 5e (BCS standings), because all 3 teams would have the same overall record.
