Another primetime matchup.

Sunday night. NBC.

Two teams that have combined to win five of the past nine Super Bowls.

Patriots must regroup after a humbling defeat at Cleveland.

Steelers escaped a scare at Cincinnati, finishing 2-1 during a three-game road stretch.

Since it's at Pittsburgh I am going to say they get the W. Even though I COULD see the Patriots snapping back after the loss at Cleveland.

New England's defense is suspect, they just aren't as good as years past. It's critical that the offense put up some points because Brady and co. can light it up at any given time.

Just listened to the press conference.

Steelers are really banged up after Monday night.

Moore and Redman both had concussions.

Keisel left the game early. He continues to have hamstring issues.

Starks had stingers throughout the game and was in and out.

Kemoeatu has an ankle sprain.

Nobody has been ruled out but a lot of players will be limited on the offensive line and at running back.

If the Steelers win this game they'll really be sitting pretty at 7-2.

But even if they lose it might not be a crusher.

They could turn around and beat Oakland, Buffalo and Baltimore and be in first place.

Max Starks injured a disc in his neck. Might be done for the year. Heath Miller has fluid on the knee.

Max Starks is officially out for the season

Jonathan Scott will start in his place

Chris Scott, a draft pick from this year, was activated from the physically unable to perform list

This is a big loss but Scott has done a solid job when he's been forced to play on either the left or right side.

LT-Jonathan Scott
LG-Chris Kemoeatu
C-Maurkice Pouncey
RG-Trai Essex
RT-Flozell Adams

Bench:
Doug Legursky - first reserve at center/left guard/right guard
Ramon Foster - guard/tackle reserve
Tony Hills - tackle reserve
Chris Scott - tackle reserve but I doubt he's active for any games

Another possibility would be to move Essex to LT and play Legursky at RG

Steelers have to overcome the injury bug, which has been hitting them as of late. Fortunately, their back-ups have been very solid, but still...playing against a pissed-off Pats team while nowhere near 100% isn't a situation that has worked out all that well for teams in recent history. If they don't shoot themselves in the foot offensively and can keep Brady in check defensively, they'll win, but Brady has been better than most QBs against Pittsburgh's schemes.

Lets go Patriots!! I bet Tom Brady rebounds from a shit performance and throws for 300+ on the pathetic Steelers corners. I am thinking 33-17 Patriots.

I know you are just trolling, but regarding Pittsburgh's CBs......I'm actually surprised with their play this season. Taylor has actually caught the ball a few times when it was in his hands, McFadden was a nice addition and Gay has played well in limited action.

I'm not sure how to take this upcoming game. The o-line is going to be even more shotty than it already was so who knows how that will pan out.

It will all rely on the D. Its no secret that Pretty Boy Tom doesn't like to be touched. Blitz his ass the entire game!

The Patriots will bounce back. There's no question about that. I've already read some articles about how they didn't feel they practiced well leading up to the Browns game and already this week they've had good film sessions and they're focused on taking that to the practice field.

Steelers because of the injuries might not have a very good practice week.

I think the Steelers secondary will get lit up by Brady, especially on third downs. They'll have a tough time getting off the field. Welker, who has been quiet lately, will catch everything this week and a be a real pest. :D

Steelers should be able to move the ball and score some points, as well, so I'm looking at a 27-24 type game, decided in the fourth quarter.

Funny coming from you. Steelers fan living in NY, nuff said. Its no secret nor is it a trollish statement to say that the CBs are the weakest part of the steelers defense. Way to get your panties in a bunch there.

Even though the pass defense is the weakness of the team, the Steelers are 6-2 and in the playoff hunt.

Your team will not be in it, again. So go eff yourself. :D

Yeah sorry I wouldn't be able to root for that team, but I guess if you're already a scum bag of low character then you can relate to POS like that. LMAO at your two face FO, what a joke.

Try the most respected, first-class organization in the NFL. Most Super Bowl titles. Rock solid ownership. The model for other franchises to try and follow.

It's been said many times by NFL people who know a hell of a lot more than you.

We don't have to use Steelers-Saints or Browns-Saints to measure the two teams. Steelers vs. Browns what happened? 28-10 doosh bag

I will watch the game, but listen to it on the radio. I don't want to hear Collinsworth suck Brady's dick all night

You're proud of people who take loaded handguns into airports, kill people with their cars while under the influence, etc?
