Oh, the Browns are getting better. No doubt about it. However, I don't think their first meeting is irrelevant at this point. The Steelers match up well against the Browns IMO and that was part of the reason they beat them the first time around.

When two fan bases despise one another's team as much as we all admittedly do it's extremely easy to read between the lines, whether using factual information or not. For example ewok, I could and nearly did take umbrage yesterday when following the final TD by the Jets, you were oh so quick to point out that it was "an ex-Steeler" in Holmes who killed the Browns. As much and as simple a fact as it is (he's an ex Buckeye anyway...pft) it rubbed me the wrong way. Not much, cuz I can take it, but I think you get my point.

Sorry that it rubbed you the wrong way. I noticed that you posted the score for us yesterday on the in-game thread. Fairly innocent.....but I think those of us on the thread knew that it was 7-0 Pats at that point. LOL. I just let it go. I think if you look at my other posts on that Browns thread it's easy to see that I wasn't trolling nor did I have an agenda. Same goes for you with your other posts on this thread. It is easy to read between the lines. It's also hard to let it go sometimes too.

Lol..well touche'. That's the point. I really don't take any of it personally, and I can readily admit to a poke here and there if others do as well, it's only fucking sports entertainment after all, and I rarely ever have anything to say that I wouldn't say to any of my buddies who are fans of the piss & black, Domers, pinstripers, orange bags-o-douche or "we are family" lovin' craptastically-run-franchises-in-the-history-of-the-world teams either.

...and to be clear, the thread was slippin' past half way down the page....7-0 seemed more appropriate than TTT

You know we're cool, you could sit in the corner and try to block my empties from hitting you in the skull any time.

I apologize for getting the actual score wrong........................ The finale of the season will be a fun game...when the heavily favored Browns crush the crumbling Stillers.

Well, again, Hillis wasn't really contained agianst the Steelers. He still had 90 yards of total offense. Not to mention, containing an injured running back isn't anything to brag about.

And you can't say they stopped Chris Johnson they can stop Hillis. They're RBs with two completely different styles. CJ will run around you, Hillis will run over you. So maybe they can stop the speed guy and not the power guy? idk

90 total yards isn't that big of a game. Also, if he was healthy enough to start and play throughout the game.....he must not have been that injured. If that's nothing to brag about....well, maybe the NFL record set in the first 8 games is. Pick a style, they faced it. Hillis wasn't barreling Steeler players over in the first matchup. But let's just keep playing the injury card.

Hillis is a tough runner. I respect his game and it's understandable that you like him. But, you told me to stop acting like the Steelers were unstoppable earlier. I don't know....maybe that's what you're doing with Hillis. He's very good, but let's not go overboard.

I'm not going overboard. I'm saying my opinion and you're trying to use your opinion to try and change mine. I think the Browns are better than the Steelers and I think Hillis will run over them Jan. 2nd. If you don't think that, find, but don't try and change my opinion too.

I'm simply disagreeing with you and explaining why. You can and will think what you want. I'm not attempting to change that.

See this is where you start to lose credibility S&L, cause there ain't a stat including the overall record that supports it as being factual.

I know there isn't. I'm not saying there is.

I just think the Browns are playing better football right now than the Steelers are. It's completely subjective, I know this.

I'm a Browns fan. It's one thing to say the Browns might be the better team when they play in Jan....it could be true, but not now...lol.

It's Gibby logic

Well that can be argued, given the last several weeks and comparing scores of like opponents. I'll agree with that.

You don't think the Browns right now are a better team than the Steelers right now?

Yeah, I agree it can be argued.

But the end of the season result is what counts, and being honest, I don't see a rookie led football team being ahead of the Steelers, again being honest, with more wins than them. The Steelers, though I fucking hate 'em, are a well operated franchise, whose been there before. But like I said, it's debatable whose playing better right now. I really don't think who actually is better is in question just yet imo.
