Based on his overall body of work thus far. His QB rating is 88.9, 14th best in the league. You'd think it would be better with all the weapons he has on offense.

He isn't over rated because I've never heard anyone put him in the top 5 discussion. Like I said he isn't Manning or Brady but he can get the job done so I will take it.

Never said that, never even implied that. Just stating the facts that 4 times in the past 2 games (3 against my favorite team) it's been done and seemingly a blind eye is being turned to it. Let's not forget that in addition to the 3 "cheap" hits Henne took, he also had a roughing the passer penalty on a play right before he threw an interception.

I'm not trying to say it's dirty, they aren't trying to hurt the QB IMO. it's cheap. they unnecessarily punish a QB and cause him to make mistakes. some QB's can bounce back from it, some can't (obviously henne couldn't shake it) I'm just saying it's against the rules and I'd like to see something done about it

A big thanks to the Falcons for helping out the Steelers. Plus I bet all my vbucks on Atlanta.

Personally, I don't think Flacco is overrated.

He's gotten better with age.

Just going by when he plays the Steelers, I thought he got confused by their defense the first couple times he played them and let them dictate the terms, so to speak.

This most recent game, he knew where to go with the football and got it out to his receivers. He has a lot of weapons now and is beginning to spread it around pretty good, although it took them awhile last night.

Call or no call Falcons wouldve won that game. Matt Bryant wouldve kicked a GW FG.

Flacco isnt sure fire top 10 either. Id have these guy ahead of him for sure, and then a host of others including Flacco would fill the rest of the slots.

Manning
Brady
Brees
Rodgers
Rivers
Big Ben
Ryan
Eli

It's tough to rank the QBs right now.

A lot of players fighting for a few spots.

I would say without question, Peyton Manning, Brees and Rivers have to be in the Top 3.

Then you have many players for the last two spots in the Top 5.

Brady
Rodgers
Ben
Ryan
Eli Manning

then probably Flacco

that's still only nine, though, and a lot of good players

maybe even Schaub, Romo when he's healthy

Exactly. Id say Schaub, Vick, Romo, Flacco, etc are all fighting for the end of the top 10.

It's kind of interesting to think Eli and Ben have three Super Bowl titles combined from that draft class but I'm not sure I wouldn't rather have Rivers the way he's played the past couple years.

That was a "meh" pushoff at best. Unless White is the hulk, that corner shoudlnt of fell

The corner came up like he bit on it too early.

White already had him at that point. They were even and the corner was over aggressive trying to play the short part of the route.

If White cuts to the outside there is no way that defensive back is stopping him.

It may have been a little acting, too. It was a slight push and the guy went flying.

White even admitted he got away with a foul.

Flacco has one of the biggest arms but no he isn't a top tier qb like Manning or Brady yet.

Once again there is no guarantee Bryant would have made a field goal to win but it doesn't matter much now.

I agree with that. There is no guarantee he makes the kick.

That's the toughest field goal when you either win or lose.

Big touchdown to take that out of the equation.

That has to be the worst move of the week, benching Henne for Pennington.

Miami has faced a lot of good teams.

I don't think this is their year but at 4-4, still games left against the Jets and Patriots, it's a little early to panic.
