And Genoa won't? Nutter had 33 carries for 179 Friday night, had 41 carries for around 220 against Eastwood. And speaking of hammering until they wear you down, Genoa ran about 4 different plays in the 2nd half, OG had to know it was coming. Yet the Comets still rushed for over 200 yards

These 2 teams are very similar. 50 front on defense, both teams. Run ball first mentality, both teams. Seasoned head coach, both teams. Should be a dandy. I believe both teams matchup size wise very close also, speed is the name of this game. Coach Vicars is 2-0 against Coach Carrol while the 2 were at Delta and Urbana respectively 28-20 in 2003, 56-20 in 2004.

I admit im ignorant about genoa's players. But if your bragging about 33 and 41 carries and their respective yardage bcs Nutter is the leading back then you have seen nothing yet. No back on cf has had 33 possesions in one game. But many have had more yards than that. Better hope your defense is up to the challenge. should be a good game and fun to watch.

Not against a team of Ottawa-Glandorfs caliber.....

I hope they got new lights....it was really dark outside the 30 yard lines.

I thought for sure Huron wouldve gotten this game as its about the halfway point for both schools.

May have been saving Huron site for week 13 if Genoa wins....works for EC or Orrville. Same could be said for Ashland site for CF Wins....again works for Orrville or EC. jmo

Here's a link with some pictures of the field. Looks like an excellent facility, I cannot wait to see it in person.

You haven't been to Tiffin yet? Great place to play except for its a tad on the dark side. The turf is like Fremont's. It lays very low and if fast. Not the same as Clyde, Findlay, or Lake. Visitor side looks small but holds plenty, plus there is a hill beside the home side you can sit on.

Since I am an RV football traveler and remember well the RVs Genoa brought to Ashland. There is a great little lot directly south of the Visitor entrance that is perfect for a gathering of Comet fans!

Is it dark because the lights themselves are bad or because there isn't a lot of them?

I wasn't trying to say look at these impressive numbers, I was saying yes Clearfork pounds the ball but so does Genoa. I know they have incredibly talented backs. Having one kid with carries in that number sounds like you pound the ball.

Sounds like the game will a big time slobberknocker. Two teams that like to pound and two stingy defenses. Should be a lot of fun.

That's the word I was looking for. I wish I would be able to witness this one.

Be interesting to hear Orrville fan's take on the game. They played the Colts this year and the comets last year.

Never said Genoa wouldn't. I've seen CF this year and Genoa last year. CF this year has a better running game than Genoa last year by far, but since I haven't seen Genoa's defense maybe they can stop them, but I'll stick with my "Early Prediction".

Genoa is not as good this year but you never know what can happen. They played a good game Friday aginst OG. Lets hear about Clear Fork. I saw a little bit of video on them and there running backs look alot like last years Genoa's team. How is there passing game and has anyone been able to stop there running game? Also how is there defense. I know it is good but what is there weakness? what does Genoa have to do to beat this team.

Really? Like nobody posting on this thread knows that? I believe I read two Orrville chatter comments about the game previous to your post and now you have a 3rd one from Flash. Are you one of those pet peeve of mine posters who just chimes in without reading back a little bit?
