Aren't we coming up on the 1 Year Anniversary of the Refuge events from JJHuddle that led to the creation of this glorious site...Freehuddle/Ohio Chatter?

I'm not sure of the exact date, but

Hard to believe this minor league site has lasted a year. I thought for sure it would be shut down last December.

Was Nov. 9 the same day that JJ went pay, or did this place pop up a few days before or after that happened?

I honestly figured that this place wouldn't last either. I honestly thought people would brood around here for a few weeks and then everyone else would end up back over on JJ. Just goes to show what not being a complete a-hole can do for you when running a site.

That's why I started the thread, considering the playoffs start tonight. I think it popped up a few days before because I got a PM about it, and does anyone remember the Kamakazi Bombing? That was actually pretty fun.

I like this site with its somewhat relaxed rules. The only downside is that some people abuse those rules by not acting like adults, but you cannot.control that.

So congratulations Justin on a great site. Not sure if you are making any money from this but it sure is fun.

I still can't believe they actually thought that was a good idea. Posters were bitching when the huddle went free for crying out loud, why would they think adding the fee back the following year (or 2 years?) was a good idea?
