40% on rotten tomatoes before the movie's opening day is a pretty bad sign. Normally the number drops once the movie comes out too. There are some movies I like that were not rated highly on rotten tomatoes, but other than that rotten tomatoes is usually spot on with their rating.

This looks like a remake of Planes, Trains & Automobiles. Am I wrong?

Pretty much what people on IMDB are saying.

You should correct this immediately.

Hot Fuzz is excellent.

I might check it out. I feel like Zazh Galifanaikis is starting to play the exact same role in every movie. His character looks the same as the one he played in the Hangover. I thought he was hilarious in the Hangover but his act might get old in a hurry.

Did not see hangover, at least not yet but I saw him in "It's kind of a funny story" and his role was very different in that movie compared to due date

Nah you are normal(maybe)... but we have another word for people like you. Old.

Also a movie that I loved that no one has said yet as far as recent comedies go. Hot Tub Time Machine.

Im probably going to go to see this tonight I think its gonna be good.

Agree. Very different character from the Hangover and Due Date.

Agree. The shelf life on comedic actors is already not very long. Zach's might be very short. He is already starting to go a little overboard with the smoking on Maher and supposedly throwing a tantrum to get Mel Gibson off Hangover 2.

As for Due Date, I bet it is funny and worth the $8 but there is no way it will be viewed as a great comedy like The Hangover, Tommy Boy, or Planes Trains and Automobiles.

I thought this movie was absolutely hilarious. Great movie with some completely over the top scenes that were just ridiculously funny.

I thought it was pretty decent. The scene where he was doing his thing to go to sleep was very odd and hilarious.

And honestly, I had lowered expectations for this movie after reading what everyone was saying. So I might be effected by that, but overall I definitely thought it was worth the fucking $20 it takes to go to a movie with a girl now... fucking $10 tickets, smh.

Wow, I must be lucky at the theater I go to. $9 for a regular movie, or $14 for 3D. Screw going to tinsteltown.

Damn, you all must have really nice new theaters. We have a Cinemark that's 25 years old, but at least the tickets are only $5.

The theater I usually go to is a shithole and they still charge 9 bucks for movies....7 for early shows. They are not capable of 3d, so I go to tinseltown in canton for that and is around 14 bucks for 3d.

This. I definitely didn't go in expecting it to be hilarious but it definitely had it's parts.

I really didn't think it dragged at all... there were a few serious moments... but that just helped to balance the movie and also bring back a baseline emotion to set up hilarious scenes upcoming.
