"I never saw that coming. We were up 4-1 and he was probably trying to get the team going. He asked me to go and we went," Niskanen said after the Stars defeated the Penguins 5-2 at American Airlines Center. "I didn’t say a word to him all night. I wasn’t on the ice with him all night. I made sure he really wanted it and we went. It happens."

You don't want Sid fighting if your the Guins. But I personally love it shows some character. The few fights my boy Nasher has been in he has handled himself well and sent a message to his team as well as the other team.

That game was littered with fights. Pens are in sub-par form at the moment and needed a spark last night, unfortunately it didn't work.

He was just trying to spark the team. Almost everyone hase given up on Bylsma b/c he sucks, hell Malkin gave up on him halfway through October.

^^^^I don't think they've given up on "Disco Dan". IMO there's quite a few new faces on this team and injuries haven't helped either. I believe they will get it together and go on a streak like they always do. Although, we need Fleury to get his shit together, he's sucked to this point......they're not winning a Stanley Cup with Johnson between the pipes.

It was a good one to watch, 2 great camera angles, shots of the players applauding with sticks on the bench.

At least they both had visors on......hate when a player that wears a visor tries to be a tough guy and drops them against someone who doesn't wear one.

I doubt they'll go on a streak. The entrie coaching staff needs to go. Fleury has been stuck in a rut since the 07/08 season, and Johnson has been playing lights out compared to Flower. Bylsma's 1-2-2 forecheck is terrible and ineffective along with his zone defense. Also, the line juggling and Mike Rupp getting nealry 15mins of ice time a game, WTF!?!?! The only bright spots on this team have been Letang, Martin, Crosby, and Johnson.

^^^^^They'll go on a streak, Crosby's will to win is too strong and it infects the rest of the team. Remember, Bylsma's system was good enough to propel them to a Stanley Cup and there's no reason it can't be successful again. PP will get going again too, it's just a matter of time. LOL, remember how we complained about Mike "Yoooooooo" running the PP, wish he was still in Pittsburgh right now.

Bylsma came into a perfect storm with that situation. Mike Yeo actaully had a better PP than whoever does it now. What they ought to do is an umbrella style PP. Cooke in front of the net. Crosby roaming, Letang on the left boards, Malkin on the right boards, and Gogo at the top of the blueline.

^^^^Perfect storm or not, if they would have continued playing Thierren's system, the playoffs and that Cup run never happens. Got to give credit where's it is due.

BTW......don't panic, they'll come around.

A battered Detroit team and a convenient change in the Stanley Cup sched were enough to propel Cindy and your boys to a Stanley Cup you mean? Cindy's not afrain to drop the gloves...unless Ovi's standing across from him, eh Steelersgirl?

Sid breaks his hand and then we will see how smart the fight was. It was to little to late to motivate the team in this game. Pens power play is 0 for 25. Thats a big part of the teams problems right now.

And your obsession with anything Pittsburgh continues....fucking weird.

That fight was retarded. Sid doesn't need to be fighting and neither does Ovechkin. There are plenty of enforcers around the league to take care of that.

Why don't you take your little bitch ass back over to your tables and make some shitty fucking music. I hear that's in huge demand right now. You should capitalize on it. :)

Yeah! Don't you know, you have zero right to make any comment if your team is bad. Sheesh!

Crosby is a fag. I can say that because I'm a CBJ fan.

There is a difference between hating a city's team and being completely obsessed with them....you "good sir" are the latter. You're comment about "making some shitty music" also makes me chuckle. I've said it before....don't speak on something you are completely clueless about. It's a hobby of mine that I enjoy, while yours is constantly riding anything Pittsburgh's nuts. I suggest you go find something more constructive.

But I do somewhat understand your hate. When every team you support is a failure, what else is there to do?

I believe that the things I say to you, Steelersgirl, wouldn't get you all in a huff if you knew they were false. They say the truth hurts. You make that apparent.
