CARLISLE — The number five seed Kenton Wildcats upset number four seed Carlisle, 62-20 in round one of the Division IV playoffs.

Kenton quarterback Maty Mauk completed 24-of-46 passes for 586 yards and tossed eight touchdowns while rushing the ball 15 times for 51 yards and a score to lead the Wildcats (10-1).

Running back Nick Megill paced Carlisle (10-1) on the ground on 20 carries for 167 yards and two touchdowns.

About 140 of which coming in the 2nd half.

I wouldn't call this an upset...Carlisle was 10-0 and 4th in the region for good reason...they didn't play much of a schedule.

Also, Carlisle's QB was 7-17, 33 yards and 4 INT.

Ouch.
