May have got 80$ for those games online but i HATE waiting for the games to be delivered to you by amazon or whoever else online. Seems like every big release someone comes on here and bitches that Amazon still hasnt sent them their game like 4-5 days later. Meanwhile everyone went to walmart or gamestop ect has already been playing for the better part of a week.

i love the way the new multiplayer works. im definitely a fan of it

PLayed for about 3 hours earlier today, pretty good. I hate not knowing maps, but that comes with playing the game over and over and over again.

I do miss stopping power, and I havent seen a heartbat sensor option, which really bums me out honestly...I loved hearing people complain about that.

The graphics are OK, easy to spot people far away ifyou are playing in HD. Some new stikes like teh RC car bomb, napalm, and the pack of wild dogs are pretty cool. I also got this explosive called the grimm reaper, it was pretty tight.

Other than that, i just enjoy blowing shit up, so Im happy I have a copy of this game!

I don't usually buy them right away so that doesn't really bother me. Why pay $60 when in a month it will be $40 online? I rent it if I really want to play it right away. Like today.

They brought back Zombies, did they not?


Is it worth picking up now? Or worth playing MW2 for a couple months?

It blows MW2 out of the water unless you like to cheat or no scope. The graphics are more like World at War. The maps are much better then MW2 the weapons are all pretty good mostly even across the board. The zombie modes are awesome even the arcade version. It combines the best of both games without all the drawbacks.

watched my buddy play on x-box it looked pretty sweet. The RC car looks awesome, pack of dogs seems pretty dumb though

That is surprising...I thought it looked good in the trailers.

Graphics look fine on my tv. Love the game so far. Not dominated by killstreaks which is nice.

This is why I buy from Best Buy or Walmart. Because they have midnight launches and don't make you get there at 10 to get a stupid receipt thing so you don't have to wait as long in line. Also because both usually give a $20 gift card or something like that. Order online, pick up in store.

LOL, you must have never been to the Sandusky Wal*Mart for big midnight releases then. Last nights line was ridiculous.

As for the games I traded in, yeah, I may have gotten $80 for them both had I sold them online, but I don't feel like putting them up for sale and waiting for a buyer.

I got what I wanted out of them anyway, which was Black Ops...

As for the game, I think the graphics are just fine. Gameplay is MUCH, MUCH, better than MW2. They took out everything that was wrong with MW2 which is a + in my book.

I honestly feel this is the best COD since COD4. MP is a blast and the maps are fantastic.

COD has always had horrific texture work which really bugged me.

My only complaints so far are:

The online play servers, glitch fest 2010, if you lose your host, you lose your game!

The maps are freaking HUGE, I like big maps, but the only small one I have seen is the Nuclear Fallout Town map, which is a BLAST! I honestly have ran around for a solid 2 minuites in some of those maps and not seen a single person!

The RC car is a fun gadget, and the attack dogs on the smaller maps, are frigging AMAZING, like 5 to 10 kills if you do it right!

The pack of dogs was a good on W@W. I play on PC, they have some bugs to work out, but it's a good game. Anyone else play on PC? Add me on Steam, if so.

My only complaint so far is that it took me and 5 friends a good 25 minutes to get put into a game. It kept booting everyone from the party. World at War had the same problem. They need to fix that immediately.

It was the same way with the last game they made though. And im pretty sure it never got fixed. Youd have to keep backing out and then restart the search to avoid having all party members booted if you didnt make it in a game within a certain time. The leaderboards are also messed up. It says that in the like 5 hours i played i have over 7500 kills. Not really sure how the leaderboards can get messed up like that.

Best COD game since COD4 --- This is after 3 hours of online multiplayer last night --- level 13

All of the stupid perks being gone = awesome......No stopping power is sweet.

Maps - Much better than MW2

The purchase system is a lot better in my opinion, helps get rid of a lot of boosters.

I had fun with Black Ops last night like I did back when COD4 came out (after being disappointed with W@W and MW2). I'm actually looking forward to the next time I play again, rather than kind of forcing myself to like it.

So far my only disappointment is with the "Gun Game" (start with pistol, progress to a more advanced weapon with each kill until you advance through 20 weapons). It may just be the 3-4 games that I played, but it was such a boring/frustrating camp fest. I won 2 of them, so it's not like I sucked, but it ends up being just people crouched in the corner waiting for someone to walk by (kind of like how MW2 was in EVERY multiplayer game). I'll give it another shot, and still need to try the other wager matches.
