I unlocked the AK47 Monday night finally....Rocking a 3 k/d ratio with my silenced AK47...The gun is so good.

Everytime they update play list I matchmaking is shit for a day. K/D is currently at 1.41 but had 5 games under 1.00 last night because I was pinging red

Ive been playing on my Xbox for a while...its hooked up in the basement of my father in laws home with 3 other Xboxes and TVs so we can have up to 6 people playing at once) I finally broke down and got it for the PS3 so I could play it on my pretty 1080p 47 inch screen running an HDMI cable. HOLY COW, I didn't know what I was MISSING! I now know why I constantly said "How the Sam HELL did that guy see me?". I actually found about 7 or 8 more spots I didn't even knew existed because I didn't see the ladders earlier! LOL.
My KDR actually went UP playing on the PS3, and I was worried because my PS3 isnt hard wired, I run the wifi on it, but I dont seem to be having any problems at all!
Anyhow my PS3 Gametag is GooBeeR

Hardwired vs wifi won't gain you any benefits.
And why don't you run BLOPs in 1080p on the Xbox? It does that too you know.
Also, even if the PS3 version is somehow superior (they're both pretty much the same on the same set up) that isn't why they could see you. Because PS3 Black Ops can only play with PS3 Black Ops. Xbox with Xbox, etc. There isn't interoperability when it comes to the online in console games.

Well we have 3 Xboxes down there, and only ONE HDTV, and its in 720p, I play on an old tube TV, and even the high def one is running on the 5 cable system, not an HDMI, this is just my 1st experience of the game in TRUE HD quality, and honestly, it looks GREAT!

That is nice. Switching from 480p (standard def) to 1080p is definitely a huge leap and you'll notice a ton more.
Though I hate to nitpick but if the television is 1080p (not the case here since you said the one is only 720p) the component video (Red/Blue/Green) is capable of delivering 1080p. Many aren't aware of this.
HDMI is great though since it simplifies everything. Speaking of that, an HDMI cord from monoprice.com just came in for one of our Xboxes and I almost forgot to remind you guys to get your cables there. You'll save a bundle and the quality is probably higher than the crap you'll pay $80 for from monster.

You serious?? When i went from hardwired to wifi i went from consistent 4 bars to 2-3 bars(sometimes 1). Id say thats a difference.

i liked mw2..but i also like black ops with the exception of all the disconnects. the lag doesnt seem as bad in this game either. out with the old, in with the new

My biggest complaint with MW2 was the focus on killstreak rewards, and how killstreak kills added to your killstreak to allow you to gain even more killstreak rewards (it makes sense, trust me).
Example: I am camping in this corner to get a killstreak --- bang bang, yay I got a 5 kill streak...lemme keep camping here and call in an airstrike, yay, I got a chopper....Lemme camp here while my chopper does it's thing.....yay I got a chopper gunner....lemme call that in and camp here in the corner.....Game over.
Something was in the air constantly..Most of the times it was me who had a ton of stuff in the air (not from camping), so I'm not just complaining because I don't know how to kill people.....It just ruined the game.
No stopping power and juggernaut is also awesome.

You probably have a poorly set up network or less than optimal conditions (distance, metal walls or some shit). If you have a good wireless network and decent internet you really won't see a difference switching from ethernet to wifi.Rotinaj;600362 wrote:You serious?? When i switch from hardwired to wifi i notice a difference and mine was set up by my brother who has a masters in computer enginering. I go from 4 bars to three bars and lag more on wifi

the new updae changed the snipers because of the no scopers complaining i had also been changing all the packages and was running sentry, care, and san.

Nah its not as accurate as it was in mw2, still somewhat difficult to no scope. But the way the accuracy was, was juts overkill due to people complaining about getting shot with a sniper in mw2

I completely get what you mean. There were so many times when you'd have a Harrier then Pave Low then Stealth come boom boom boom. It sucked, but I kind of overlooked it.
It just feels like something is missing from BOps. I don't know what it is.

so what do you think after a few months....im ready for new maps..i pretty much play with the Stoner no sights and extended mag....my second favorite gun is the gail no sight extended mag. got a 48 game winstreak which we lost the last game 7500-7200 and had a guy go 5-15 on our team and the a random guy went 3-20. overall i like it but for real new maps already

new maps for ps3 come out in a month I heard. I mostly use the FAMAS now. I was using the AK74u but it was too much kick. I like the FAMAS because of the accuracy.
BTW, its a double exp weekend. Im taking full advantage of it.

New maps are out for Xbox.
Here are my thoughts on the game. I played MW2 a lot right until Black Ops came out. I don't play Black Ops much anymore.

I've lost interest in gaming over the past month or so....I try to play Black Ops, but get bored and turn it off...It's not just Black Ops, just games in general....I redid a bunch of flooring in our house, so I've been pretty worn out lately and would rather sleep (which is unusual).
I'm looking forward to Portal 2, Brink, and LA Noire in the coming months, so I expect to get back in the saddle then....I just downloaded the Killzone beta last night, so I'm going to give that a shot too....Might pick it up in a couple weeks when it's released....

I've been playing MW2 a lot lately on PS3. There was some big hack job and not it's just fucking stupid. You're lucky if you can play a few matches without someone coming in and hacking the lobby. Nothing like playing at the Estate and jumping up at the boat house and landing behind the green house SMH
