Looking forward to a game between two programs rich in tradition.
Naples isn't hard to find. Just look for the only building in downtown Steubenville with lights on.

I would suggest Giannamores or Rays on the way home...it might lift your spirits.

Oh, I forgot about the elitism of the Dover natives. Just another reason it's fun to send them packing year, after year, after year.

Yep, besides the old Wintersville, there is no other team I enjoy beating more.

I am saving some of my government check for gas money to hit the road next weekend. Maybe Dover fans will get to see Big Red two weeks in a row. Make sure your stadium is cleaned and ready to go Doverfan.

Dover is a good team this year we cannot take them lightly . this aint like opening the season . This is opening the playoffs . looking forward to seeing a great halftime show as well . All Dover people will be welcomed with open arms we are a friendly town . If you go to Naples ,{{{{{{{{ keep going all the way down RT 22 go up RT 7 take the 4th street exit keep going up you will see the high school on the left one more block up you will see a convienient store . It is right next to it on the side street. Very easy to find }}}}}} enjoy . If you want Greek or a very good sit down Chinese resteraunt keep going up 4th street a few more blocks . Also the Spot bar is further up it is a local sports bar that alot of the Big Red coaches and fans go. You will be felt very welcome there also . If you want a few pre game drinks . All this is on 4th street and the stadium is very easy to find when you are done.

What are the chances of tickets still being available at the gate? If low or none, when/where can I get tickets if I drive to Steuby? I am in Pittsburgh all week.

There will be plenty of room. Get tickets at the gate (ticket office).

That's exactly what they need: a few pre - game drinks before a football game with a heated rival. Now what could go wrong there???
Cheers.

Not all Dover fans are obnoxious - only a few bad apples....and I would be willing to bet not one of them ever played Dover Football.

Don't let Lad fool you, he's one of the boards biggest Punk A's. Big Red's fan base respects no one elses team, cities, or fan bases. I came on after last years loss and gave props to the team because after watching 100s of high school football games I thought that was the most disciplined and well executing team I had ever seen. All I got was "mickey Dover, roll over dover, blah blah blah".

I don't know, they seemed to show the Tigers, the city of Massillon and Tiger Nation alot of respect.

Thats because you beat their asses...remember how it was up until that loss?

I saw where Ohio was just ranked 3rd overall in high school football. Why does Big Red only play 2 Ohio teams?

Its no big deal to have a few livations before the game I know many will . I recomend if you have the time go to Naples eat a nice meal ,drive down 4th st a few more blocks stop by the Spot bar ,where they have the Dean Martin festival everyyear . have a few with the local Big Red guys . You will be treated very nice guarentee. then head up to the game. Tickets will be plenty at the gate . no problem , but I am Dover HS has them as well . If your not living near either Steub or Dover you can always pick up tickets at the Big Red ticket office . I think they stop selling around noon on Friday.

We gave Massillon respect before last year's game, after last year's game, before this year's game, and after this year's game...why? Because they earned it.

That's the difference. All Dover Fan does is talk, talk, talk about how great they are, but have nothing to back it up or show for it. You would think they were 10 time defending state champs the way their fans brag them up. That's what started it all back when JJ's got going in 99....Dover fans like the one above ripping on Steubenville, Big Red, the valley in general, when their team hadn't even won a freaking playoff game up until that point! Before that we didn't know, or care, what Dover did or didn't do.

BTW, this has nothing to do with the actual team.....because I saw Dover on tape and they have a really good team, and if we don't bring our A game, we could very well lose.

Chill . dont be a prude. These are mature adults and guess what ,thousands of people we have a few in the parking lots or at the local watering holes before the game and many will have little flasks with orange flavored drink if you know what i mean
