I know the opponent is Notre Dame, but this guy is a beast. I this he has to win the Heisman, and if he doesn't then I call bull.

And apparently he can throw TD passes too. Probably would make a great QB in the SEC.

He's a great player. This performance isn't enough to win the Heisman though IMO. He's Tommy Vardell with speed.

Could be wrong but I think he still plays baseball at Stanford as an outfielder.

Gerharts numbers trump Ingrams, IMO. Gerhart has what, like 26 total TD's now? And has more rushing yards than Ingram.

well if you're gonna talk numbers you're going to have to compare who they were against; Gerhart had a HUGE day against USC; Ingram had 4 huge days against 4 tough SEC defenses.

I don't care who it's against, 26 total TD's and all those rushing yards as a RB at this level is pretty impressive. Plus, the Pac 10 is a Top 3 conference this season. I mean, Gerhart's worst performance of the year was against Wake in week 2. Every other game this season he has been ridiculous.

He's the best RB in the country, playing on a team that's perennially terrible, and he's just impossible to tackle. Give him the Heisman, he's the best player in the country.
