Blah blah blah. So then the Irish have never been the best EVER then?!?! Don't recall them ever beating the state champ D1 school.Ohio;552280 wrote:To be the best you have to beat the best.
Oh the old "no crying" response. The second in the standard right after "you have to beat the best" response. Please continue on with the free pizza parties and free sports tkts and raffle drawings for 'perspective students'.Ohio;552280 wrote:No need for crying about recruiting at all.
So count the potential enrollment for the geographical area they recruit from. Every high school aged boy within a 20 minute radius I am sure adds up easily to D1 size. But that would preclude Ursuline from getting to pick and choose.Ohio;552280 wrote:You act as if they are the only school in ohio who gets players from all around their area. Do you see any kids on mooney or ursuline on their roster who lives even more then 20 minutes away from their school? Not a chance.
Public schools don't get to pick and choose. They take all students in their assigned geographical area. It doesn't matter if it's a special needs student getting D- grades or star athlete. I can't imagine what a beast a team like Massillon or Big Red would be if they could just turn away attendance and play in D5. Imagine too if they could turn away kids getting bad grades. They could claim to be cutting edge college prep at the top end in academics too. Wow wouldn't the world be a dreamy place if we could all be like Ursuline!
