Wow, the Heat score a whopping 30 points for the half. What an addition James, and Bosh are.

Oh man, do you think LeBron is thinking he made a mistake by choosing the Heat?

If they make open shots, they will get back in it. I can't remember the last time Haslem missed an open 12 footer from the baseline. House missed back to back wide open 3s and Wade played like shit. They may not come back and win this one but as the saying goes: Its the NBA, someone always makes a run.

I could go the other way and say that Shaq has missed 3 shots within 5 feet of the basket and we've had 12 turnovers in the 1st half... The lead COULD be 20 or more... So I'd say the mistakes & mischances by both teams are pretty even. The Celtics are just playing better right now and the 15 point lead is where it should be.

Maybe the Mike Brown 1 on 5 offense wasn't so bad after all.

Okay realistic thoughts from the first half.

--It's probably going to be about a month or so before we see the Heat in full swing. They're just getting their bearings down, but they'll be just fine, they need to get used to playing with each other.

--That being said: I don't think the Heat can beat the Lakers, Celtics, or Magic (if Dwight learns how to play offense) in a 7 game series. The Heat's lack of height and depth down low is downright embarrassing.

--Boston's playing alright, too many turnovers, but as good as defense as you could probably play (of course being helped by Heat misses). That being said, they'll be better (imo) when Perkins comes back.

Entertaining basketball game though.

it's PRESEASON...no one gives a shit about preseason. I guess except for Cleveland fans. I guess if the Browns are 4-0 in the preseason, your buying playoff tickets for them right?

In picks defense to your idiotic post, the NBA preseason is WAY more meaningful than NFL preseason. Starters play a large chunk of games because in the NBA, with so few players, they need the reps in game situations.

I will bet that Miami wins more than 30 games. Not sure I can say the same about the Cavs.

Genius move to base all of your opinion on half of basketball though

I have a feeling that Shaq will fit in a little better for the Celtics than he did for the Cavs. Mike Brown's offense had to be tough for him...now he has a true pg to get him the ball.

Shaq still misses too many layups like he did last year.
