Exactly what I've thought since "The Decision". LeBron is a great player, but he can't take a team of D-Leaguers and get the best record in the NBA two seasons in a row. The Cavs still have some talent on this roster. Scott is going to have them moving (word is he worked them hard on conditioning in the offseason) which will lead to blowouts on some nights, but will also lead to some wins over some elite teams on any given night. I really see Boobie and Hickson stepping up this year. I think they were the most offended by LeBron's decision and they're out to prove something. Sessions is going to give them a true point guard as well and word is they'll try some lineups with Sessions and Mo both in there.
I see this Cavs team as a 35-45 win team and a 7 or 8 seed in the East (how about that for a storyline if Cavs-Heat happens in the first round). Don't forget that the Cavs have a HUGE trade exception they will probably use this year. I see the Cavs trying to compete this year in order to ease the transition for Cavs fans and get the bitter taste of The Decision out of their mouths before moving towards a full scale rebuild next year.
One thing that makes me sad though is wondering how many rings the Cavs might have, had Byron Scott been the coach the last 2 seasons. I'm going to the Schott tomorrow night to get my first look at the new-look Cavs.
