Yea that was real classy by Manchester's coach. Guess he's tired of not making it out of that district.
Got to go to the game Friday night....seemed we did whatever we wanted with Winters in the game...but almost lost an 18 pt lead with him on the bench.
Hillsdale is real good, real fluid big men in Moore and Crossen, a floor leader in Fulk, and a shooter in Licata. We'll need all of our athleticism and then some to win.

I'd have let the coaches comments stand on their own...not sure I would have traveled the "Pappas pouts" route. In my short time at the Daily Record, I was taught that if the coach says it, print it. Coaches don't want to come off like donkeys, then don't say those things...especially to a running tape recorder.

That just goes to show the classless people at Manchester they just do not get it. Moving on, excited to see how the boys do tonight I think it will be a battle the whole night. One big key could be how they call the game with all the big bodies battling for the ball. Also if any of the bigs get into foul trouble could dictate the game also. Great win for the Lady Riders, we refer to the Manchester Coach as Pap-ass (can I say that) if not sorry, that is his nature #1 in the state for a period of time and can never get out of the District's if you watch him you will agree with my statement even though we were NOT the better team. HA!

Our focus is on our next opponents , Hillsdale and Ursuline, but Orrville has that ability to think on many things at the same time, so I'll just throw one word out word for rings..........MCCREARY. LOL , where's your focus?

10-13 and movin' on! WTG Riders! Wasson with 27 and 10 bounds. Not much other scoring, besides Winters. Who cares? We win!
Hillsdale hasn't seen that kind of pressure in the last two months and our strength of schedule IS a big factor.
I believe that the play of Turner has helped TURN this team around. Keep it going, boys!

Oh, and we had 19 turnovers (two above our average) and still won. BUT we pressured Hillsdale into 15 turnovers. Nice.
Can we pare down those turnovers for the next game?...........please...........pretty please?

Triway vs Wellington should be a good game. Wellington lost to Hillsdale by 20 pts and lost to Black River twice. They seem to be playing "well" of lately. But I predict they get out coached by the Silver Fox and lose by 10 or more.
