Gentlemen...I agree with what you're saying. My post was mostly sarcasm based on all the OSU haters out there in College Football Land.Cleveland Buck;524992 wrote:If Michigan State and Ohio State finish tied for the conference, whoever has the higher BCS ranking would go to the Rose Bowl, which would be Ohio State if they both finish 11-1. Also, if Michigan State were to go 12-0 and the Rose Bowl, there is zero chance of an 11-1 Ohio State being left out of a BCS bowl. I don't see how Ohio State finishes 11-1 though.
I actually don't see Ohio State going 11-1 either unless the O-line shows up again and someone lights a fire under the special teams. I see the Buckeyes losing to Iowa. Worst case scenario is they play like shit against Purdue or even Michigan and manage to lose one of those and go 9-3. Not likely but based on what I witnessed against Wisky, anything is possible.
I still think the Buckeyes are destined to play an SEC team in the Capital One Bowl this year and guess what? They'll lose big time to whoever that SEC team might be.
It's like clock work.

I agree that they'll prolly lose again (to Iowa), but that's it--and I also agree that we'll prolly (hoepfully) play an SEC team in a bowl--but I think the result will be different. We've seemed to play better in bowl games the last couple of years--it's the regular season games we seem to botch.

Last year it was doom and gloom after losing to Purdue. Wisky is a decent team and we lost to them, it's not nearly as bad as losing to Purdue last season and we still ended up winning the Big Ten and Rose Bowl.
Too much has to happen, but if OSU goes 11-1 or 10-2, they are most likely in a BCS bowl.

A tad bit of confusion between Tolzien and Clay, as they run into each other but Clay still picks up about seven yards
3rd and 1 at Iowa 8-yard line
James White stopped for an eight-yard loss and Wisconsin will line up for a field goal

I dont think Iowa can keep up with the Badgers. It seems like Wisconsin has a much easier time moving the ball

Kirk Ferentz with some Les Miles-esque late game decision making there. It typically works out for Les though.

Another coaching blunder costs a team a chance at a win. How hard is it to do clock management?
