Halftime 21-10 Navy

The Mids are clicking on offense.

The question is can the defense hang on just enough in the second half to slow down that dangerous Notre Dame Offense.

Watch Simmons for Navy.

He's the man on defense. Sideline to sideline.

I think the only positive for ND's defense moving forward to the second half is they couldn't possibly play any worse.

How well do you really know Navy?

Yeah, they're all small. Size and depth wins plenty of games in the second half, it's the raison d'etre for football in the Big Ten...

That said, this will only help Notre Dame defensively. Notre Dame's offense isn't clicking, which is understandable. My buddy thinks Notre Dame is cursed, so when the ENTIRE receiving corp is out or out of position, he thinks "what other team would have that happen to them?!" hahah interesting take..

I won't be able to watch the second half live.

I get to go watch my daughter run at the District x-country race.

Good luck to both teams. Can't wait to watch the recording tonight when I return.

I would agree with this. Navy is one of the most well conditioned teams in college football. They won't slow down their pace.

Hmmm.

They have depth. They don't have size. Because of the size differential they have different challenges than most D-1 programs. I haven't seen them lose because of "conditioning" even with their disadvantage.

Maybe Notre Dame will pose a different "conditioning" challenge than others have to the Mids.

The second half will tell.

Dude you're taking too much out of the "conditioning" in the phrase "strength and conditioning." Take a Valium. It's like the "Department of Health and Human Services" and someone nitpicking human services. haha Notre Dame is bigger and faster, and as the game goes on that disadvantage for Navy will exacerbate. Notre Dame will get off more blocks in second half, it's just how the game works.

Maybe 30-45 minutes a day for next year will help.
