I figured as much. Oklahoma doesn't play another tough game until the Big XII title game, so you can pretty much pencil them in.

At least Ohio State moved from #23 to #14 in the Sagarin ranking.

Oklahoma plays at undefeated Missou next week and then plays at Oklahoma State later in the season. Those are not easy outs. The Oklahoma State game in particular will be tough. Stillwater will be rocking on that night and I have a feeling will give the Sooners all they can handle.

I agree 100%. They also go to Texas A&M to open November and do host on Texas Tech the following week (not saying A&M or Tech will beat them).

Texas Tech and Texas A&M are garbage. Missouri is a good team, but not on Oklahoma's level. Oklahoma State isn't as good as Missouri, they just haven't anyone with a pulse yet. The only team left that can beat Oklahoma is Nebraska, but I don't think they will beat them.

^^ I'm sorry but Oklahoma's remaining schedule is not as easy as you think. Emotions, confidence and a major part of college football. That is why a team like Wisconin can beat a team superiorly gifted in athletic ability like they did last night. Say what you want about Oklahoma State, but it is a rivalry game (well at least for the Cowboys) at their place. It is the one game Ok State circles on their schedule every year. Missou may finish with a a few losses, but again their confidence is at an all time high right now as they are undefeated.

A&M and Tech aren't great, but they are a lot more dangerous than Purdue or Minnesota.

Oklahoma's remaining schedule is difficult compared to Boise State's or West Virginia's. And Texas Tech is more dangerous than Purdue or Minnesota, but not the other 9 Big Ten teams.

There aren't any great teams this season, so really no one is safe. Meaning anyone who ends up undefeated will earn it....except Boise, TCU, or Utah. Won't be surprised either way if Oklahoma loses or goes undefeated. LSU and Auburn will probably lose, maybe multiple games and Oregon certainly has a few losable games. Michigan State avoids both would-be strongest tests, but will still likely falter.

Boise and TCU are getting more love than usual, so if they run the table we'll probably see history made. Other than that, Alabama and OSU still have rather good shots because they probably won't lose again (OSU with a little bit easier path) and will be right back on top once those other teams lose.

I actually looked at their schedule today and it is not easy.

This week they play at Missouri, at night, with Gameday there. (Three weeks in a row a #1 goes down perhaps?)
But, they still have to play TT, A&M, and Baylor, who are all capable of putting together a good enough game and enough points to win.

Then there is the last game, at Oklahoma State. A rivalry game, so won't be easy.
Finally, I could easily see Nebraska beating them in the Big XII Title Game.

Mark it down now. Oklahoma will lose and will be an embarrassment if they make the NT game. Someone can quote me if they like. Oklahoma is a very good team, but not elite. Boise St, TCU and Utah are all better than Oklahoma. Hopefully Oklahoma gets one of those teams in a bowl game.

I wouldn't say Utah...

I think Utah is better than TCU, I am very glad they get to play and we will find out. I have been wrong many, many times as college football predictions are not a science.

No problems with Ok being #1 in the BCS, just don't like Bobby Stoops. And Ok has choked more than tOSU in BCS games by far, they suck in BCS bowls.
