So, you guys took young O-ville QB on a snipe hunt, eh? I wonder how many readers are out spreading the word now about the truck show?! (Nice avatar! He looks like a friendly little fellow!)

Maybe the Colt fans aren't on here crowing about beating us because they have never beaten us and have to come to our place? That's smart. Just keep your mouth shut and concentrate on getting the job done? Refreshing!

BRF, He is a very nice little fella. He gets upset when people post ridiculous statements, you just gotta know him I guess!

riders1, As do the rest of the rider chatters :D BAH

Me and a few others grind out the work while a few of you take your jabs and try to take the high road, trying not to be a BAH. It's not all that bad lol

Tre's & Mason's daily reminder....

McCune - 1500+ yds rushing....21 TD's.

Much, much better than any of our backs.

He's right...we are "down" this year. He'll run for a minimum of 250 yds and 4 TD's.

If they don't have the monster truck show, maybe they will bring the fire trucks out to water the field down.

At what point will you be able to say orville's d stopped him? 190 yards 3 td's? 150 yds, 2 td's? But orville could hold him to 20yds and no td's as long as cf wins it doesn't matter. cf has others capable of running the ball. So remind them everyday to key on McCune.

How are you going to stop us, maybe you should be worried about all of our 8 playmakers.....Try to key on one of those!

Simpson
Pirman
Monheim
Davis
Brenner
Turner
Rice
Licthi

If he has 20 yds and 0 TD's...you don't win. Simple as that. Yes they have others, but Doup and Bellamy combined done have near what McCune has. He's your bread and butter.

Top 10 in the state AP poll too. Maybe the 3rd state ranked opponent we've played this year (Copley & Ashland were the 2 others). I think Triway was "ranked" by JJ...but that was not exactly a legit ranking. CF is legit.

Clear Fork looks too tough in this one. Blowout of Wooster and Win over Ashland sold me. I think it's their year.

I'm going with Clear Fork. If it was @ Clear Fork, I'd say by 20 points. Being @ Orrville, I'll say Clear Fork by 14. No matter who wins this, both teams will host a playoff game (as long as Orrville beats Wooster, which is still not a lock by any means). If Clear fork wins, they could likely meet up with Orrville again in the 2nd round. (I'm sorry if this has already been said... don't have time to read the whole thread right now.) Fantastic50.net is calling for a 7-point game, though. It should be a great atmosphere, no matter what. Good luck to both teams!

I'm glad we get to play the game Friday, instead of the game being decided on here.

Everyone is entitled to their prediction. :) I don't care who wins either way... just saying what I think will happen. And if I'm wrong, kudos to the Red Riders! If Clear Fork gets in the end zone two more times than Orrville, then I'd be correct (barring any field goals). I don't think it's too "out there", but we'll see.

Good luck to both teams.

One would assume that outcome based on mutual opponents. It is no secret. We love that stuff over here. Ask the Titans. CF comes to our house Friday the clear favorite. You'd be an idiot not to think that. These are the opportunities you hope for. I tell my kid and his teammates all the time they have have the opportunity to play in such meaningful games so far in their career, they are very fortunate. Not everyone who pays High School football has these opportunities so often. We can't wait for Friday.

^^ Well put. I wish I could attend this game instead of our throttling-to-be at Fairless. Humphh... And then Timken the next week... If it wasn't Halloween party time of the year, I'd be spending my Saturday nights at some real football games. :(

Checked out the field tonight. We had a band show Saturday so I wanted to see how it did. For grass I would say it is as goos as any around at this time. Turf is mowed real short right now....looks good. Areas right around the the 35 yard lines inside the hash marks is pretty thin in grass but other than that I think it was in nice shape. Calling for a little rain Thursday...let's hope not too much.

How were the Wooly Bears looking, Dick Goddard? ;-) And what do THEY predict? I wish we could bank tonight's weather for the game!
