I really love seeing stories like this where teams let sports take a backseat to life.

Damn kid, slow down that chair for the cheerleaders.

In all seriousness, very classy on everyone's part.

love these kinds of stories. Great coaching, great MEN out there leading our youth. The primary reason I became a wrestling coach was to make a differance in some young mans life like my coaches did in mine. This is a PRIME example. KUDOS x 8billion!

The defense didn't look ready on the play...no one tried to tackle him. I'm not impressed.

Triad HS in North Lewisberg, OH did something similar a few years back for a kid on the team who was in a wheel chair. He actually had some mobility if I remember and was able to get out of the chair for the play to score the TD. Classy move by opposing coaches, in all seriousness.

I saw that one kid from the other start running toward him and I thought in my head, "is he really about to try and stop him" lol.

Then I saw he had a ball in his hands. Looks like maybe the other team had signed a ball or something.

Classy, classy move by both teams/schools. I love seeing this stories.

Also, I'm pretty sure a wheelchair isn't legal :p

A) His uniform is illegal. Should never have been allowed in the game.

B) That makes the score Rivercrest 47- Manilla 6. Maybe they should have asked Rivercrest to do the same for the starters.

Seriously, great gesture. Not the best I have ever seen...way too staged...but still pretty cool.
