No Yanks. No Saux. No AL East.
Awesome.
Now, we just need the Giants to win.

Now if the Giants win, we will have the best World Series in a long time (02 or 05) in terms of fresh faces with teams full of undervalued stars!

it does take a lot to upstage the Yankees
Rangers have a lot of offensive firepower and the pitching came through, too

Poor Yankees...maybe you can splurge on free agents again next year in an attempt to buy championships lol

While i like the Cards, we see enough of them. Pujols is shoved down our throats as much as the Red Sox, just as a singular player. Plus, I get all the Tiger coverage I can handle in Toledo lol.

Texas just freaking DOMINATED this series. It wasnt as close as the 4-2 series makes you believe. The Yankees got 1 pitching effort better than Texas, and that was game 5 with the Cy Young winner going against the Rangers #3. Texas was just the better team in every facet of the game this series.

I just noticed that if the Giants win, at least 5 of the WS games will be day games in the local time zones, which is pretty unique anymore.
They preset game times before the playoffs even began and all San Fran games would begin at 4:30 PT, the first game in Texas will start at 5:30 CT.

My interest in baseball has been dying, but I can't help but be happy for Josh Hamilton. I hope he gets a WS ring.
