Does anyone have any info on Coach Mac? Heard he got a job coaching at Claymont. But I highly doubt it, they just got rid of a mess. Its the same ol at CV, anyone you talk too points the finger in another direction. If he returns they will have a tuff time fielding a team. But I heard he was happy with the offense in the last game of the season. They scored 0 pts, with 10 turnovers. Someone tell him turnovers dont count on the scoreboard.

I knew it was the Rockets but sure most would not.
I agree B-port should drop them as soon as possible.
If they want to play a team from the same league they could apways try Newcomerstown or Strasburg.

I don't want peaple 2 think im sayin BRIDGEPORT is so good that they need play teams that go 10-0 or 9-1 every year , but i do think they need 2 pick some teams that will get them ready 4 the playoffs. I would like 2 see NEWCOMERSTOWN or STRASBURG 2 teams i don't think BRIDGEPORT has ever played.

I would try and make the drive for either of those games and the good no make that great fans from Strasburg know how to tailgate before the game.

isnt this thread about the rockets or did i miss something...anyways i dont think that the bulldogs will be prepared for the playoffs by putting strausburg or newcomberstown on their schedule no disrespect to their programs but not what i would call playoff caliber teams...

the scary part is the 10 t.o.'s is a pretty accurate number bad things will happen when players are out of position!!!!! sometimes it will even affect your basketball season as well, when ur down 28-0 wth 5 min to go in the game maybe its time to start putting in the subs,:@

So is their any info on the coach returning? Asked around lastnight at the basketball game, know one knew anything. Winter lifting should have started? new weight room sitting empty! and B-port will have one more good year and then back to reality. It comes and goes in cycles.

I feel for you Rockets fans. This is just a tough situation all the way around. Just not enough kids at the school to produce quality football numbers. Then, you add in the fact that coaches come and go and you have a recipe for mediocrity. I wish I had an answer. I'm sure there are kids who work hard at the game of football, but, there's just not enough of them. I just don't know how you can put a good product out on the field with 12-20 healthy bodies. It's simply impossible.

Bfan your high school team goes to the playoffs every year? Do they win their conference every year? The numbers shouldnt be low next season, Next season they should dress 30 min. for the season opener.

i think they could possably make a run but the one thing that ive seen the last two years is they dont really have a quarterback, please correct me if im wrong(maybe do to injury,not really sure). i actually think ball from cv would be a great fit in that system, both basketball an football... youre thoughts on that one tigerfan82

I think next year is the last year unless they extend it longer.

I think the Tigers game with B-Ville again this season.
I think this game will go a long way in telling what kind of season both teams will have.
I think this because B-Ville should be much improved.
Should be a great small school game.

Conotton Valley wont last. I see them merging with someone sooner than later.

The next 24 months will be improtantg for CV to survive. Money will be a issue again this coming spring. With the passing of two levies in Nov. it may be tuff to get another too pass. With the money problem and the athletics struggling it will challenging. CV taxpayers will need to put deep thought into the improtance of a small school in our backyard. Winning some games would help put a little hope in ones mind. But if they dont start changing things it maybe over soon. To some in charge everything is fine right now. It blows my mind.

How many kids are they going to loose to open enrollment next year? I heard some of the better athletes are going to HC or Claymont next year!

They had some sweet looking younger players on the team next season.
One would never know it unless they went to see them play.
The scores would leave most to believe there was little or no talent there.
Lack of numbers was the biggest problem I.M.O.

I just live down the road from CV, but not in the district. I know alot of the boys that go to CV, a couple of them are really good athletes. I just hate to see it wasted at CV.

The Ball boy is one of the best QBs around, they had a open meeting last season and when the Ball and Enold boy voiced their opinions the coaches took it out on them. He only played QB a few more times after that, and the entire team was a mess. Coach Mac and Coach Winless made it very personal towards some of the boys. Mac might of been getting info from a outside source, he was on his cell phone texting 40% of the time. I wish his outside source would of told him that he was screwing his best two athletes. If Claymont picks him up like rumor has it, they would finish last in the IVC. And his side kick coach Winless put in a new offense the first 6 weeks and bitched at the kids because they couldnt get things rolling. I could go on and on. By far the worst group of coaches I've ever been around, or seen. But if you talk to them its the kids falt. Or the parents falt. It had nothing to do with no organization, bad conditioning, poor game day planning or just a lack of communication. Does Verizon have a how too coach for idiots? Please Coach Mac if it does put it on your contact list.
