My first post was borderline "troll" material, so I deleted it. I've actually heard nothing about it....so I'll say I meant grammar.

Actually the Lion King isn't a very good production. Yes, the costumes are amazing, but once you get midway through the first act you stop being overwhelmed by the costumes and start paying attention to the play itself and you realize that the plot doesn't progress very well and the show becomes a bit boring. The movie was great and the costumes are amazing, but in my opinions the stage production falls short.

Because of the popularity of the Lion King it is easy to follow and you do know what to expect but the costumes and special effect are very good. I would go back to see it again just so I could watch how things where done. .

For kids the Lion King is a great introduction to Broadway Shows and musicals

I'm just curious, for those of you who loved the Lion King stage show, how many professionally produced Broadway show have you seen (not necessarily on Broadway, but shows that have been on Broadway)?

Fifth of July
Dancing
Jesus Christ Super Star
Hair
Chorus Line
King and I
Mary Poppins
Wicked
Le Mis
Phantom of the Opera
Lion King
