I'd take a healthy Colt McCoy over a hobbled Delhomme.

Tough decision coming up. If neither Jake nor Seneca is 100% do you want to run Colt out in his first ever start against the Steelers? Hell no, pick up a FA this week.

He is horrible, so I will place 70% of his performance on his abilities, and 30% on his injury.

In the NFL they would release or cut him.

Not fire.

I understand your frustration as he looked way off. However, it was also clear to me that he is still hurting and should not have been playing. I don't know why they didn't have McCoy activated and instead left him as the "emergency QB", which means both of the other 2 must be hurt in order to put him in. Certainly they had to know how much he's hurting, don't they??? That limited their coaching options and they had to play a QB that was, at best, 50%. What's wrong with having Cribbs learn the position? It's not like he hasn't done it before.

Should I go back and dig up the posts that you Clown fans were frothing of the mouth after Holmgren signed him. Mistake by the Lake lives on.

I was really impressed with Wallace in the first half today, if he's able to walk, he is your starter the remainder of the season. Mind boggling that the Brown paid Delhomme what they did.

Apparently your memory blows. Nobody is worse than Derek "the pig" Anderson. Not even close. As an aside....Joe Thomas was a pig today as well.

You won't find me in those threads supporting the move.

Put Colt out there so Cleveland can ruin yet another Qbs future.

The Browns defense played a solid game. The offense wasnt doing them any favors

Link?

Now that I've done my "good deed" and replied to the Special Olympians, back to the topic....the Browns need to use their 1st rounder on a QB unless they trade for one. I thought Delhomme might have one last "hurrah" in him prior to the season but man was that off.

I expect them to bring back Ratliff off the Pats practice squad this week.

I agree, cut ties with Delhome now if his money isn't guarenteed, start Wallace sign some scrub for 3rd string. This season is already in the pooper, might as well save some money and spend the pick on a QB. Plus with a full season at QB for Wallace he will be that much more prepare to help the team do something legit next year.

I actually would have supported the Browns keeping Ratliff and cutting McCoy. I know it wasn't going to happen, but I think Ratliff is better than Delhomme at this point.

Not sure who they can trade for? You didn't support a Kolb trade, and even though he wasn't available, he is by far better than anyone else they would get via trade.

Just because I'm not a fan of a Kolb trade, it doesn't mean they wouldn't do it if they see him as their guy in the offseason (if he's available). Another name I've heard, which doesn't thrill me, is Matt Flynn (Green Bay). With Aaron Rodgers concussion, I think we may see a little preview of what Flynn can do this week.

I was just curious what guys you thought would be options. Matt Flynn is an interesting name, and yes, he might get to play a little now. I can't say that is someone who I would be thrilled with either though.

It's just hard to get a franchise QB via trade and I don't know which young guys have that potential.
