Same reason they didn't against Florida in the Championship game...they let teams dink and dunk all the way down the field...it is what they do.

Torrence isn't streaky...he sucks. If you watch highlights on ESPN...when they show the other team...it is always Torrence diving and missing in the highlight...ugh

I'd say it's because they didn't have the experience/athlete to cover it with Moeller out

maybe, but they have been more of a "bend, but don't break" defense since Dantonio left.

They were with Dantonio too, he was just good at being aggressive at the right times

Seems like we have very rarely blitzed since Dantonio has been gone.

They blitz a good amount every game, I think the calls just aren't very creative.

I think they actually try to be too aggressive at times (trying to emulate the Dantonio days) and become predictable, allowing some of the bigger plays.

I like being aggressive but timing is everything.

The defense didnt come to play, the loss of Homan didnt help either. O well, this bottle of Jack will soothe the pain....

Yeah I know, we are dropping them off and then going to get breakfast (her dad is running it too) and then coming back like 2 hours later to the finish line.... screw waiting

Wow, that sucked. Hats off to Wisconsin for getting a huge lead and then kicking the bucks when they were down.

Have a big respect for Cameron Heyward after this game.

He was being interviewed after the game and gave all the credit to Wisconsin and said they deserved to win.

What got me was when he was being pressed to put the blame on a certain area and refused and added "There is not going to be any finger pointing, but if you want to blame anybody it was my fault."

That takes alot of balls for him to come out and say that and I hope he has a good rest of the year.

Well, I didn't quite believe in Wisconsin heading into this game. I guess I do now.

That's what Jim Tressel coached teams do. It is a rare occasion that a team mate throws another under the bus, it's not balls, it's class.

And people wonder why we recruit the big, plodding linemen in the Big 10. If you don't, you lose to Wiscy, maybe Iowa, used to be UM. Wished we had more beef up front tonight.

I really don't think the coaching is to blame for this debacle. I suppose they could have tried to run it a little more in the first half when Pryor looked overwhelmed out there and they could have tried to blitz the run more in the first half. That isn't why we lost though. We lost because the front four was just pitiful and because Terrelle Pryor couldn't do anything, run or pass, for 3 quarters of the game.

^^^And special teams still suck. That opening kickoff return set the tone early.
