I was looking at their website and it looks like 2000, when they lost in week 2 (20-16 against Chardon) and week 3 (14-13 against Chillicothe).

2000 was my senior year, and yes, it was ugly. (I was in the band and got to witness the whole thing.)

Looks like fish82 has some scraped up knees and elbows from jumping from those bandwagons.

I'm the "lone voice" of the Muskies on the MVL forum...mostly because there isn't anyone else to do it.
I've been to two games since arriving in Cincinnati 25 years ago. They're my alma mater, but by no means are they my "team."

You have your work cut out for you Steubenville. If you guys end up playing Mooney in the playoffs, that'll be 2 all star teams you have played from the same town in the same season.
So, I can't just say Go Steubenville, beat Ursuline. I have to acknowledge ALL the kids from the Ursuline team, so I have to say, Go Steubenville, beat Poland....and Austintown....and Warren....and Columbus....and Dallas.

Oh no! How much server space does Justin have if everyone starts naming the schools that Steubenville has gotten players fron?

Reno must have put the clamps down again. Big Red posters' aren't spotting off like they usually do, even after a loss.

We could list all the schools that Edison, Indian Creek, Buckeye, and Toronto has gotten from Open Enrollment and the lists would be about the same. You just pay attention to the ones that the Big Red Football program gets because it is the biggest game in town.
And let's not forget how many kids go to Catholic Central that have started at other schools.
This is a new age, so you oldtimmers may as well get used to it and stop complaining, because Open Enrollment is here to stay.

ROLLREDROLL Big Red will win this game.Just because Massillon beat them doesn't mean they stink. It just means Massillon was the better team that day.The Massillon Big Red series will in this day and age come down to who is at home. Now Big Red go beat Ursuline.I will not be in attendance because I'm working a double that day.So Katz and Peachymom please keep my spirit alive and give an extra holla for me please.

I don't think it is the old timers who are complaining. We are now used to the way things are. Open enrollment brings things out in the open more. Open enrollment is far better than when wealthy boosters offered jobs to get families to move to another school just to play football. Some of these younger posters might not like it but open enrollment is what it is; open. Anyway, I don't think they really care, they just like to stir the pot.
Cheers.

Frankly I haven't been on this site that much this whole season...it's kind of boring. Same ole, same ole. It's like Groundhog Day reading these comments.holdingout;519253 wrote:It crossed my mind.

I think it goes beyond stirring the pot though, unless the pot is full of jealousy.
