I don't recall anyone claiming he's a top 5 QB recently, but many people have said there's no reason to look to the future - IMO this should have happened last year. Palmer is getting older and it is obvious he's no where near the QB he was before his injury. It is one thing to be loyal, but Palmer is actually HURTING the team right now - the pick 6 was just a poor decision and worse throw, he just doesn't have the strength to make those throws now.

At the very least, the Bengals should be looking hard at potential QB draftees.

I don't understand why the video review of Tampa Bay's last completion giving them the shorter FG wasn't overturned. Looked clear to me that the right foot was off the ground when the ball arrived, thus not having two feet in bounds.

I think I was probably one of the people who was saying let's be patient with Palmer. He's been injured a lot over the past 3-4 years, I figured that if he was healthy and he had the weapons, he would be able to get the job done. However, as many are pointing out, Palmer doesn't look like he has "it" anymore. It is probably time to start thinking about the future. The bad thing is that we don't even really have anybody to develop. Jordan Palmer is a living example of nepotism.

I saw the same thing .... Just frustrating is all. The talent on this team is 11-12 win team. But the execution & Brat's play-calling hinders this offense tremendously.

Early prediction: Palmer and Marvin wont be in Cincy next year. Been telling you Bungal fans all season Palmer is and always has been overrated. Is the circus about ready to start with Stinko and T.O.? Their stats couldn't of been to impressive today. Your new tight end seems like he can be a headcase also. Get ya popcorn ready. hahahaaaaa

Yep, Palmer doesn't have "it" anymore because he never had "it" in the first place.

LOL, I remember when the CIN fans thought they had the best QB in the division (some thought he was as good or better than Brady/Manning). Ahhhh, those were good laughs.

Palmer has to be one of the bottom five QB's in the league this year. Where can you find the QB ratings? He has killed the Bengals all year.

Was he the 1st overall pick that year? He's gotten a pass way to long.

The two games the Bengals won were IN SPITE OF Palmer, not because of him.

Ah, you mean the good ol' days of, "We won five straight to finish 8-8...SUPER BOWL NEXT YEAR, BABY!!!!!" followed by (365 days later), "We won five straight to finish 8-8...SUPER BOWL NEXT YEAR, BABY!!!!!"

Felt like I was living through Groundhog Day or something!
