One of my best friends introduced me to their single "Little Lion Man" in late July, and then two weeks later I saw them at Lollapalooza and I pretty much can't stop listening to them (with The National mixed in). Any chatterers fans of these guys? Apparently they tore up the charts in Australia and England.

They're a folk band from London, England, and use an acoustic guitar, a bass, a keyboard, and a banjo of all instruments. They mix in some horns and drums from time to time but mainly stick to those. In my opinion, this is the best album of 2010.

Here are my favorite songs of theirs, although I love the entire album:

Love 'em.

You've got good taste in music, btw. The National are as good as it gets, and Ohio boys as well!

Huge fan. I've seen them in concert twice. "Awake my soul" is one of my favorites

I've only heard a couple of their songs, but really like the sound.
Similar to Fleet Foxes, with more bluegrass mixed in...

Love them. Also highly recommend The Avett Brothers...Mumford and Sons is sometimes referred to as the Avett Brothers from England...

I'll have to give The Avett Brothers a try.

Basically for the last year or so I've been on an Indie music binge of The National, Spoon, Frightened Rabbit, Mumford & Sons, The Decemberists, Arcade Fire, etc. etc. etc. Just so much good music not on the radio (well Arcade Fire is played often).

Edward Sharpe is a sight I would like to see live. There are like fifty of them. I loved it when they played for Letterman and he says "it looks like you had a good turnout tonight" to the band hahah They came to Columbus but sold out and tickets were being scalped for like $80-100. Too much to see Home and 40 Day Dream..
