However, if I was that family I might have kicked the snot out of a few of them, got arrested and plead "temporary insanity" due to the hate speech. I would also like to sit on that jury .

So your defending those normal supporters (not campaign people) BEATING her because she ran up to Paul to ask him a question?? Not a surpise with your track record here BG. She acted extremely foolish and if she shot him, would you have been "surprised"? Who knew she didn't have a gun or weapon? She wasn't beaten. She had no injuries. If someone rushes Obama like that, how many broken bones would they get? Is that any different just beause he's POTUS and Paul isn't? Paul has no real security force and those around him thought he was being phsyically threatened. People had tenths of seconds to react and chose to keep her away rather than let her get any closer. I'll say it again...no injuries. What about the Tea Party guy in St. Louis last year that had his nose broken and he was kicked and beaten. I don't remember you on here extolling that as extravagant. He probably deserved it because he was with the Tea Party, eh?

I was just going by the original account of the ordeal in the early news reporting. Seems now she has some swelling. I didn't know that before, so yeah, she has a right to not be beaten up, but she had NO RIGHT to act the way she did. I wrote that she wasn't hurt so she got what she deserved. Now that other facts are coming out, then yes, she has a case. Here's the link to the follow up story. You should also note that in the story the people in the crowd were concerned this woman would cause trouble and the police looked the other way. That's sad that they can't do the job they are paid to do, isn't it?

I understand where you're coming from, but i am so fucking tired of seeing this line. Who exactly are "we the people?" Only those on the right? Are those on the left not "we the people," and therefore something else, maybe even, something "un-American?" Are only those on the right allowed to use that hallowed phrase. So confused.
