Been pretty disappointed with the new fifa so far. The game play has changed and made it a lot harder to connect simple passes and thru balls, hence making it harder to score goals. I know this will take time to get used to just like every other new fifa and I'm sure I'll get used to it. But my mine gripe is with the few glitches that I've come to notice, like for online play with the roster names being switched when trying to adjust your team before the game and then also online play freezing a lot. What's everyone else think about the new FIF?

I'm not sure what you are talking about with rosters switching? I have played 12 games online and haven't noticed anything. Also I haven't had a game freeze on me.

I understand what you are talking about with passing/scoring being harder but I actually like it. You actually have to aim at the guy you are passing to and the computer won't auto complete a nice pass for you. Through balls, especially ones in the air actually seem more accurate to me on this one.

Ive always thought gameplay was way harder when I get the new game. But in the end, it just is because Im used to the year before and it has the adjustment period.

What was the last year you played? '10? Because the simple passes were tweaked a little in Fifa 10 so that you needed to aim more to the person as well (in comparison to years previous).

Every FIFA game has had a way to exploit it that makes scoring easy as hell.

All you have to do is find it.

I try to play it as realistically as possible, but when scoring becomes so easy it's hard to do...

I haven't bought FIFA '11 and probably won't.. NBA 2K11 is like crack and is easily the greatest sports game ever made.

Doubt it. Just check out the reviews.

I wasn't a big fan of 2K10, but 2K11 is just on a whole 'nother level.

IGN called NBA 2K11 the greatest sports game ever made and also said it was the greatest year-to-year improvement of any kind of game, ever..

Played every game since fifa 64. I know the game play well just take a short time to get used, just wanted to see if everyone liked it. And as for the glitch its quite odd and happens very frequently to me and my buddy, can't believe no one else has had problems with it.

I was just about to make a thread about this!

I love the new version. It makes the game more realistic IMO. No more garbage long ass through balls. The only bad thing I notice is an offside glitch. Even if the through ball is deflected offsides is still called. I'm sure a patch will be out soon to fix it.

And by schooled I mean BEAT DOWN. I'm nerd status good at this game!

It doesn't matter. It's opinion based, and so far, the opinions of the people who matter (the major reviewers) say 2K11 is the GOAT sports game. So far, I agree.

No, they are not the best at what they do.

I'd say that Kotaku or something like that is the best at what they do.

I like NBA2K11. It's just that IGN is the Mcdonalds of game journalism.
