I would guess with Snyder directing and Nolan overseeing the production it will end up being better than any other Superman flicks.

And Emma Stone is going to be Gwen! I agree with those two hopefully this movie doesn't suck like the last two have.

What exactly does "overseeing production" even mean? haha

I'm guessing there will an enormous amount of stylelized violence in this one (due to Snyder's presence)

On the one hand, it can't be worse than Superman Returns, on the other hand Superman is a lousy character - nothing can hurt him except for some sort of weird rock from a planet far away.

But if Christopher Nolan is producing, I'll be open to it.

What was wrong with the last Superman film? I thought it was pretty good.

Rumors are that General Zod will be the villain in this reboot. I'd be interested if Snyder will use the awesome "fast pace to slo-mo back to normal speed" approach to the action scenes like he did in 300, if that's the case, a Superman vs. Zod fight could be awesome, considering Zod's from Krypton too and so should be on superman's level.

I've never seen an entire Superman movie before. Batman is the GOAT.

No one is set in stone just yet. It may be the last guy but there have been rumors floating around of a handful of names.

Where to begin?

Aside from the airplane sequence, the complete lack of action....and no plot, other than that Superman is a deadbeat dad and homewrecker.

Wasting talents like Kevin Spacey and Parker Posey, and pretty much killing the careers of Kate Bosworth (horrible choice for Lois Lane) and Brandon Routh.

It isn't as bad as Batman and Robin, but pretty close.

Have to agree with MB, I rarely jump ship on movies halfway through, but that film was utterly unwatchable.

Has the potential to be good. The also one was just awful.
I personally would love a "Death of Superman" movie. That would be pretty cool.
