It before you put whatever your cooking in? I always preheat if not I usually end up saying oh it needs 5 more minutes then it comes out burnt to a crisp.

There is no such thing as preheating (heating before you heat)...but yes I do let the oven get to the correct temp before cooking.

You mean I'm not suppose to cook it then cook it again? But I get what your saying.

Always.
*EDIT
Unless I'm just reheating something, like pizza, then it really doesn't matter.

i treat it like foreplay. if i want it cooked right, i do it. if i don't give a shit and feel tired, i rub one out, fart, rollover and fall asleep.

With my oven if you use the speedbake option you don't need to preheat. It also cooks in 25% less time than a normal oven

Depends on what I'm cooking and how I'm cooking it. If I have a set amount of time that I want to cook something until then I'll preheat the oven to be exact. If I'm just eyeballing it I'll toss it in when I set the oven as to save time.

No, there is such a thing as preheating because you are heating the oven before heating the food (hence, preheating)
And yes, I always preheat the oven. If you don't meat usually comes out dry and things will often burn on the outside before they reach the proper internal temperature.

wha!......I mean are you in that much of a hurry to eat your Red Baron pizza that you can't let the oven warm up before you take off the plastic wrapper?
