This game COMPLETELY turned when Wallace was sacked in the 2nd quarter.

That will do it.

Sucks being a Browns fan BUT 5 games in and we have been in all 5 but only have 1 win to show but it is better than the past few years when we would be 0-5 with not being in any game.

Good game by both teams today. ATL finds another way to win which is what good teams do.

If by Colt McCoy, you mean Seneca Wallace, then yes.

I don't see why not. At least he can move away from the pocket if he's being pressured. Jake and Seneca both have injured feet/legs which (I think) are quite important to any football player.

I don't think Colt is going to start ANY game this year. They'll sign a FA QB before they rush his ass out there.

I could be wrong, but I'll be very shocked if McCoy gets any play.

Different outcome if the Browns weren't forced to play a QB who isn't close to 100%.

They knew Jake wasn't 100% they know Colt isn't ready to play yet they went into the game with no contingency plan for if/when Wallace gets hurt.

Good teams plan for those situations the browns didn't coaching staff fail.

I agree. Coaching staff fail. Should have kept 4 qbs. Signing Leinart (did he get cut or traded can't remember..) may have been a good idea.

Clowns blow another one. hahahaaaaa. They should hold their spot in the power rankings though being Carolina and Buffalo lost. I dont expect to hear from BR, He runs his chops on friday but seems to be AWOL on Sundays after the game. Holmgren did a good job fixing the qb situation. Go Holmgren Go! Where you at BR? Man up in take your medicine.

Okay, now I know for a fact that you say that every week just to get attention, you can't be stupid enough to say that every sunday, can you?!?!

With most people, I'd agree with the "you can't be stupid enough" sentiment. Al/Art is a special (with "special" being able to be used in more than one way) case, though.

I've seen his name at the bottom multiple times today. He may have you Clown pukes buffaloed but not me. All you Cleveland skanks are the same. Run your mouth before the game and go AWOL after the game. 1-4 baby!!!!

Calling BR. How do you explain 1-4? I thought God(holmgren) was supposed to fix all the Clown problems? He's a qb guru. Got rid of Andersen and Quinn and brought in Future hofers Wallace and Delhomme. Collect that check Walrus.

Says the guy who was nowhere to be found during the game when the Browns were winning. After the game you come running. Gimme a break.

I remember you disappearing all of a sudden after the Pens lost to the 8th seed in the playoffs as well.

Heretic;511941 wrote:We need to vBookie the odds of Modell actually NOT making "where you at?" posts.

I'm starting with:
Modell calls out BR for not being glued to computer: 1/1500
Modell remembers the 500 times he's been told BR isn't on computer during weekend and waits until Monday to say anything directed towards BR: 1500/1

Seems pretty fair. Although the odds might need raised to bigger numbers. Might be too conservative in those estimates.

Well there you have it. Death, taxes and Capone's idiocy.

Hey dipshit, I don't log off when I leave work on Fridays. Probably the reason you'd see my name as "online" IF you can even see who is online. BTW...I'll give you fair warning, AGAIN, this week...I won't be on Friday either because I'm taking a long weekend off from work.

I'd rather put an injured Delhomme in there than McCoy and frankly, at this point, I don't care if Delhomme sees the field again.

If Wallace is still hurt later in the week, don't be surprised if we see the return of Brett Ratliff. They will try to swipe him off the Pats practice squad.

As far as the game goes, it's a shame the defense got screwed, again, by the offenses ineptness. I agree with a poster above that if Wallace is in and Hillis is healthy this might be a different story.

If this team doesn't bite the bullet and use their first rounder on a QB (unless they trade for one), Lerner needs to look long & hard at Holmgren's talent evaluation skills. Mangini & Heckert wanted another player and Holmgren pulled rank to get McCoy. If they go into 2011 with all of their eggs in the basket of the 3rd round pick McCoy, something is terribly wrong.
