Rays put some defense on the Rangers in the bottom of the 8th, once they have the lead.

Im a casual fan, Crawfords been my favorite player for years. Dont follow baseball enough to really have a team, but if i had to pick one yes itd be the Rays

I think Price and Lee shut them down. This one is decided by the Pen in the late innings. Possibly extra.

I'm going with both starters pitching well, but defensive problems cost one of them and makes him a loser!

that's a safe prediction in this year's playoffs

I'll even call an error on the 2nd baseman.....cause there has been about 40

I really want Texas to win. Rays have been there....Rangers have not but if Rays win then they will have earned it for sure.

A little over five hours until first pitch. Any final predictions? I think Cliff Lee does it again, Hamilton gets three hits, including a 2-run double and the Rangers win, 4-1.

Pena with a RBI single to tie game in B8. Longoria wins Crawford scores winning run on Longoria hit in B11.

Lee and Price both go 7+

Andrus effectively steals home in the first to give Cliff Lee a one run lead! Will that be an RBI from 2nd base for Hamilton on a ground out, or a stolen base? There was no error. Just about as rare as a runner scoring from 2B on a sac fly!

Base hit...drove Price nuts on his leadoffs, once to 2nd he tried to steal 3rd but Hamilton bounced out to 1st and Andrus kept on running and scored from 2nd on a bounce out to 1st. BIG

Can't believe he called Cruz out on that 3-2 pitch.....never gets called and the catcher framed it for a reason......and to top it off he waits until Cruz heads towards first to call it.

Yes, but pitch trax shows the other three up and in called balls were inside, while the last one wasn't inside and caught the zone!

I know what it showed.....it just rarely gets called ever up there and my biggest problem was that the ump seemed to wait until Cruz was tired of waiting on the call and headed towards first.

It's a deciding game...one team moves on and one goes home......umps need to be quick and correct on the calls all night.

Right now Lee looks like he doesn't have his best stuff. He is missing with alot of pitches, but the Rays are helping him out.

The Rays were nearly no hit or no hit quite a few times....there is something to that

but they also won 97 games and there is something to that as well
