Could Nebraska be the next top 10 team to fall? Both teams are 4-0 and both will look to pound the ball. Kansas State has one of the best RBs in the nation in Daniel Thomas. Standing at 6-2 230lbs he's a workhorse that gets the ball 25+ times a game and is one tough runner. Expect lots of single back, I, and wildcat formations from KSU.

Nebraska comes in with a 3-headed monster ground game. Martinez (QB), Burkhead (RB), and Helu (RB) all have their own style and when the young QB makes good decisions from the Zone Read offense it's hard to stop. The defense seems to be built more to stop the throwing teams though. They can't afford to give up 3-4 yards a carry by playing soft to prevent the big play. If they do look for KSU to pound the rock and pull off the upset. Knowing Pelini's success with defense though, it's likely he'll be able to come up with something.
