Great meet today! I'll admit this course has grown on me in recent years.

Fairborn's Jordan Redd ran 15:23 at the MMOC (Hilliard Davidson) this weekend, originally I expected to see him at Buck Creek today.

I agree, said. Never been a big fan of the course but it's grown on me over the years, too. I think the cooler weather was appreciated by the runners.

A lot of fast times at Buck Creek it sounds like. Of course, to stay the norm' I'll question the length of the course and if anyone GPS'ed it?

Where was the Miami Cty meet 609?

My girls GPSed it and it was 3.12. My girls' times were for the most part 10-15 seconds faster than their best times this season.

Don't know when you were there last 609, but they've changed the course around a few times in the past 18 years. To finish now, you come up a steep hill from the side of the marina and turn left to the finish line. It's a lot more fan-friendly now.

I'll throw the Ohio Caverns in there for the most beautiful course this time of year. With the corn down, there are gorgeous views of the countryside.
