Machete is what it is..

A cheesy 70's style action flick that's pretty damn entertaining and full of one liners.

It's not meant to sweep awards for best picture, etc..

I'll be seeing True Grit on Sunday. Hoping it's as good as I'm hearing. Kind of disappointed that Josh Brolin doesn't see more screen though, he fits these roles to a "T".

Machete would have been a lot better minus the liberal political message.

I really liked True Grit.

Saw True Grit at the late showing and LOVED IT. I was not expecting to laugh as much as I did, but the movie was excellent. Easily a 9/10.

The acting and character relation was top notch. That young girl did a great job with her role.

Just saw it tonight - great movie. Me and the gf thought that for as little action there was in the movie you would have thought you'd be bored...but I was hooked the whole time. Great acting, great music, great settings...just a great movie.

yeah, it was pretty good. One thing...that 14 yr old girl may be the smartest kid of all time.

Wasn't a huge fan of this movie actually. I don't know what it is, but I can't really get into most of the Coen brother's movies. Burn after Reading and The Big Lebowski are the only two that I really liked.

6.5/10

Didn't hate it, didn't think it was amazing.

I would give it an 8/10.

Great writing, acting, directing and script.

I just wanted more.... I thought the story was straighforward and short. It probably didn't need to be longer but I would have liked more.

yeah, it was decent, but not on par with many of the screeners.
