I might actually take a half a day tomorrow from work and go see this and get some last minute shopping (i.e. all of it) done.

Def seeing it this week. This is the first movie I've looked forward to seeing since Machete.

Probably gonna see it Christmas night. I really like Jeff Bridges in this role or any role for that matter.

Agreed. I think Josh Brolin fits these roles as well.

I will watch it only because good guys wear a patch...

Note: Remaking John Wayne movies ...remarks never really work as good as the original
Is the Hollywood generation of today so brain dead they can create their own classics?

It isn't a remake of the John Wayne movie. It is its own adaptation of the book.

I looked forward to Machete and was let down big time.

I had been looking forward to Fighter and was definitely not let down by that. I assume the same for True Grit and Little Fockers.

Little Fockers looks like it's going to suck. The Fighter looks great, though. I am glad it is getting such good reviews. I might make it a two movie afternoon and catch True Grit and The Fighter.

Little Fockers does look terrible.

I think me and Stephen A Smith will be watching True Grit though.

I take it you didn't care for Meet The Parents or Fockers? Fighter was pretty solid. If you like Bale and Wahlberg you won't be disappointed. I'm going to check out True Grit today.

Was it great enough that we see a re-birth of the western movie genre? ie...more westerns start being made?

I loved Meet the Parents, and I also think Little Fockers looks atrocious.

Saw True Grit yesterday. It was pretty awesome. Jeff Bridges always delivers, and the girl more than held her own.

I don't see what in the previews makes Little Fockers look atrocious. It looks like a normal Meet The Parents/Meet The Fockers type.

What would make someone look forward to Machete? I thought that looked absolutely horrible.

Again, anyone that likes westerns needs to see The Proposition.

Saw the movie 2 days ago. It was good, but not great. Why they paid James Brolin for 5 minutes of screen time is beyond me.
